The WX Forums are intended for the enjoyment of all, therefore certain rules must be adhered to for a better experience all round. By posting on the forums, you agree to the following rules, violation of which may result in the termination of your membership. Flaming Abusive behavior (flaming) towards other members will not be tolerated, whether you consider it to be justified or not. If you believe someone has behaved aggressively towards you, please report the incident to a moderator or administrator - flaming back will only reflect badly on yourself. Spamming Please try to remain on the relevant subject when replying to threads, so that others can easily follow the discussion. The kind of spamming that will earn you more than a frown, however, is that which can be seen as deliberate or without regard - nonsense posts, or those with barely a sentence and contributing nothing to the topic. The only forum in which spam carries no repercussion is No Holds Barred. Advertising You are permitted to promote one website in your signature, in such a way that it is not seen as an attempt to denegrate these forums. Making a post to advertise your site is prohibited, as are any other cheap plugs contained in regular posts. This includes use of the private messaging system - any reported incidents will be treated seriously. Linking to other sites for the purpose of discussion is allowed, where appropriate. Ultimately, what constitutes advertising is at the moderation and administration staff's discretion - you are simply asked to be sensible and respectful of the resources offered to you. Nudity Nowhere on the forums, outside of the X-Rated folder, may images of nudity be posted. The definition of nudity is left to common sense and, if necessary, the moderation and administration staff's discretion. This goes for your signature and avatar also. Remember, children of any age are just as capable of viewing these pages as you are. Signatures Graphics in your signature must amount to no larger than 600x400 pixels. Huge graphics in signatures are not only a nuisance to scroll past, they also waste a lot of people's time in loading - especially users with slow Internet connections. If an administrator removes images from your signature, reinserting them will constitute a deliberate breaking of this rule. If you object to the size (or, indeed, content) of another member's signature, please report it. Spoilers The Internet being what it is, we often have access to results and other details of shows that have yet to air on TV. However, not everyone appreciates having things spoiled for them in advance, so it is essential that you exercise discretion when posting information of this nature. If posting a thread containing spoilers, make sure the title is clearly labelled as such - eg, "SmackDown spoilers" or "Upcoming Jarrett storyline - Spoilers." If posting within an existing, unmarked thread, enclose any spoilers in 'spoiler tags' like so: [spoiler]This is a spoiler.[/spoiler] If you can stick to these basic and common rules, we hope you'll enjoy becoming a part of our ever-growing community at WrestleXpress. |
