Match moved from WM card

The scheduled WrestleMania World tag-team title match featuring champions Lance Storm & Chief Morley defending against Rob Van Dam and Kane has been taken off the WrestleMania line-up and moved to Sunday Night Heat. While there was in-direct build up for this one with the real storyline being between the Dudleys and Morely, or even the Dudleys and RVD/Kane due to the heel turn, it's still not a good sign when you have a title match as a crowd warmer on Heat before the biggest pay-per view of the year.

Well, it looks like this match got the axe for the rap contest.

Sorry, I know I'm going off topic here, but I just wanted to say that this is the kind of reporting - if this was taken from a news report - that I disapprove of. Here, a "reporter" is mixing opinion with fact, blending analysis with straight-up information. On the main WrestleXpress site, I will ensure that we will have none of this. News is news, editorials are editorials. It is a reporter's job to provide the reader with news, not a pre-cooked opinion to go with it.

Okay, back on topic. I personally don't think this change is a bad idea. This match has had very little build-up, and most of the heat surrounding it involves other feuds, not the match itself. It's a real shame that the likes of Rob Van Dam can't perform on the WrestleMania PPV, but at least bumping this less-relevent match onto HeAT gives more time to the other matches on what is still a packed 'Mania card. Or the rap contest. :ponder:

It was from WM, I forgot to credit it.  Its what happens when you are sick to your stomach and try to drop knoledge.

Personally, anything having to do with the Raw brand right now tends to leave a bad taste in my mouth.  First we have the 4 matches in 2 1/2 hours, and then a Raw title match will get pushed to Heat for a rap challenge or the Limp Bizkit performance.  I hope somebody tells vince people actually want to see wrestling on a wrestling show.

This move actually doesn't bother me, seeing as how this was a last minute addition to the card anyway.  The only thing that pisses me off is that guys like RVD and Lance Storm don't have a mid card championship for which to compete at WrestleMania, rather than them being in makeshift tag teams.

I agree. If the IC title was brought back then they would be given a nice push to make things better.
