For almost a week now, when I leave from here, I usually have no problem coming back and posting, but for the past week, I have been getting this.

Cannot find server or DNS Error
Internet Explorer

Now I don't know if its my computer but I highly doubt it cause I can go to any other forum but this one and its a little aggrovating, so I am wondering what is going on.

I also use "Mozilla Firefox", and when I try to log on from there, it says it cannot find server, why is this happening?I only get upset cause I am not able to come on for a certain amount of time, which happens to be different time variations, one time I will not be able to come on for 20 mins, then the next time, it'll be an hour or two, and today....around half hour, those are just three examples but it should get my point across. :-/

Although this isn't technically a very helpful answer.... the same used to happen to me all the time (using either internet explorer or firefox) but over the last while has fixed itself... it was annoying as anything... I just kept trying to refresh and such and eventually it would go... Again, like I said, not much help, but maybe it shows a light at the end of the tunnel!

Hasn't happened to me and I use FireFox as well so I guess it can't be that.

It hasn't been happening to me either. Who's your ISP? If other people with the same provider can tell us whether it's happening to them, then it'll help determine if that's where the problem lies.

Who's your ISP?
I am not to familiar with computer talk so I'ma take a guess at this, by ISP, do you mean "In Service Provider"...... if so, I am not to familiar what it is.

Do you mean, what kinda connection to I have and what company provides my   internet, AOL, Comcast, MSN?

Stuff like that?

Yeah, which company provides your Internet? Whose free CD did you use to set up the connection?

I use to have comcast, I had the same problem. Now that my dad uses my computer, it has some pretty good virus,pop-up, spyware etc; blockers and other tech stuff. It could be that you computer has a virus or, that comcast's server or whatever is temporarily down. That happened a few times.
