Okay, here's a suggestion.
On two sides of the world right now, and possibly other places too, Big Brother has begun its 2005 season. For the sake of being topical and having something new to do, I propose the first ever WM Big Brother.
Here's the breakdown of it:
- Five posters are "locked" in a folder; they can still post in the wrestling sections (strictly on-topic), but the only other folder they can post in is the special Big Brother folder. This can be set up with forum permissions.
- I will start off as "Big Brother," but just like the real show, Big Brother won't always be the same person. People will be able to PM me to request a turn as Big Brother, but their identity will be a secret (because they'd all be posting under the same "Big Brother" username for the purposes of the game).
- Big Brother will set the "housemates" tasks/challenges, either in the form of competitions or just general entertainment for the rest of us. Simple rewards can be arranged for housemates when they succeed at a task.
- Every so often (say, two or three days), the housemates will each privately nominate a fellow housemate for eviction. The two housemates with the most nominations are then put to the public vote, deciding who is eliminated from the game. The process continues until there is one winner.
Anyone who volunteered to enter the "Big Brother house" would have to be able to guarantee regular participation - to log in once a day, at least. Otherwise there's no point.
So what do you think? Does this sound like something worth doing?
