nWo Likely To Make Return This Year?
« on: September 16, 2004, 08:03:47 AM »

Source:Prowrestling.com

Various sources have reported that Kevin Nash and Scott Hall are in talks for an appearance on the upcoming three-hour NWA-TNA PPV. They would almost definitely appear in tag team format, bringing back the "Outsiders" tag team.

However, a new PWTorch.com Newsletter report claims that Sean "X-Pac" Waltman may also debut with the twosome, to form some sort of Outsiders/nWo-type faction. It is not known if they will actually work a match at the PPV, or just make their debut.

Jeff Jarrett is said to be reluctant about bringing Hall and Nash into TNA due to their reputation, but knows they may be able to provide the much-needed boost to TNA's interest-level.

At this point, Hall and Nash are considered very likely to appear, while X-Pac is only a possibility.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I would love to see the nWo reform but wasn't X-Pac supposed to sign with the WWE when he finished his rehab??? I don't know but if TNA could possibly keep Hall, Nash, and X-Pac if they come that could really boost ratings. Now thinking of it TNA could make this big alliance between Jarrett, Hall, Nash, and X-Pac. You could have Jarrett as NWA Champ, Hall & Nash as NWA Tag Champs, and X-Pac as X-Division Champ. It could be sorta like the WCW days TNA vs nWo.

Don't think NWO will return, the 4 best wrestlers who were in nWo were:-

Kevin Nash
Shawn Micahels
Big Show
Scott Steiner

What do u think about that boy

I though that the best nWo was the original one Hogan, Hall, and Nash. The rest of them sucked. Also you said Scott Steiner well he is un-employed right now so if TNA wants him they will sign him.

What!?!?!?!?! The nWo was a much better than the Nation of Domination and the ratings prove it. At the time of th Nation of Domination WCW was winning the ratings wars will the WWE which means more people were watching the nWo.

I dont' think that the NWO would work in TNA. TNA seems like it's all about tring new things and giving fans new guys to watch. And altought I would love to see Nash and Hall back in action you would have to wonder how long it would last especialy with Halls "problems". They seem to dog him were ever he goes. Also they've done the NWO to death. I mean when they brought them over in the WWE it was cool at first but they quickly lost their shock value. Now the LWO, that could be HUGE!!!:#1:

It would be interesting for a little while, especially since they'd have their rebel image back again ("Vince might own the name, but he doesn't own us!"), but I think it would wear off pretty quickly. Especially if Jarrett became involved and it was just another tool to keep him in the frame.

Also wasn't Jerritt a member of the NWO at one time? Like near the end of WCW? Still the NWO will always be one of those classic wrestling ideas that has been riped off by just about every one, like the Blue World Order in ECW and the Porn World Order in WEW. But I think we should just let the NWO rest in peace. No reason to poke a dead horese, for the 10th time.

I don't think Jarrett was in the NWO.. but I do agree that it's best to nor try to reform it.. it failed miserably on Raw and probably wouldn't fare any better anywhere else...

I believe Jarrett was in the nWo back in the day when the nWo let everybody in.

Jarrett was in WCW's last version of the nWo, when it was him, champion Bret Hart, Scott Steiner, the Harris Brothers and the Outsiders. The logo was silver, the slogan was "the band is back together," and they stated that this nWo didn't care about taking over, they were only interested in titles. In other words, it was lame and didn't last long at all.

What! A WCW story line were they actully used Bret Hart? I must have slept through that one. The only one I remember is his fued with Sting were they fought over who owned the Sharpshooter/Scorpion Death Lock. Man was that a barn burner....

It would be funny if the NWO does go to TNA but it turns out to be the NWO B Team lead by Stevie Ray, with Horis Hogan, Scott Norton and Vincent...
