The future of the WWE may rely on 1 person. The future of the WWE the new HHH or Hulk Hogan but who is it gonna be?

The next Triple H? Hmm, so you are asking who I think will be the next dull, boring, repetitive, stuck-in-one-gimmick-entirely-too-long-even-though-he-has-the-talent-to-pull-off-a-gimmick-change? Hmm, i really want to say Randy Orton as he has everything in the above mentioned except the talent factor. (snaps fingers).

As far as the "future" goes. That really depends on your definition of "future". As long as they stay employed by WWE, then all those guys will be on TV for a good part of the foreseeable future. However, if you are talking about that next HUGE star such as your Hogan, Austin, or Rock...then I don't think any of them will fill that role.  I think of the major reason WWE is in a slump right now is because they don't have that solid focus guy that can connect with the masses. As soon as that next guy shows up, WWE will experience another boom period.

*laughs at shannon moore being considered a possibility as the next big thing* (not that I don't like him, just I don't see him doing much more than jobbing for the cruiserweights....)

As far as who they're building up right now, it's gotta be Benjamin, Randy, or Cena..... I would probably say Cena can rise up to the next level if he's used right.... However, they can't rush it, if they do, it would just be shooting themselves in the foot, (which is what they probably are going to do...)

I think you have a very good point Cybrus! but i still think that Cena or Orton could become the next Austin or Rock if they get a big break! I think this because we have the two new face/heel type people in the WWE and i think with the storylines they are involved in at the moment they could both become the next big thing!!!!!!!!

Randy Orton. I see more and more of The Rock in him every time he's on TV. Not that he's a Rocky clone - far from it - but he has the same charisma and potential that The Great One had when he was in the Nation with Faarooq and co.

WWE has begun taking a different route with its stars of the future, stating outright that they are 'the next big thing' or 'the future of WWE'. It worked for Brock Lesnar, and I think the way in which Orton has been groomed and presented from almost day one will help him be accepted as a strong main eventer in the following years.

Paul London because he's so young and has so much coming for him. The wwe just needs to realize that...
