X2-Wolverine's revenge.
« on: April 28, 2003, 09:48:33 AM »

I recently bought this video game. I have not yet completed the game. I have only played the first two levels. And so far, the game has been  very good. The story is good, and the game play is great. Wolverine just found out that the Shiva virus has evolved and found a way to get through Wolverine's healing powers. How did the virus get there. The scientists involved in the process of making logan into Wolverine, installed the shiva virus into all the mutant subjects as a failsafe device.
The game biegins with Wolverine trying to escape from Department H facilty.
It was a lot of fun to play this game. Unlike Batman: dark tommrow, this game was actually worth playing and spending time on. The makers of the game havemade sure to make good use of every one of Wolverine's powers. From combat skills, to healing, smelling, enemy vision, tracking foot prints, and more. Un-like many previos X-men titles, this game is not all about punching, kicking, jumping and slashing your way through each level. Stealth is a very important part of this game. I like the way you could execute different strikes while in stealth mode. When you engage in combat, you won't feel helpless. Whilei wsa playing the BATMAN title, engaging in combat was the worst thing. I tried avoiding it at all costs. Butinthis game, i actually enjoyed cutting and slashing my foes to smitherines. Also, the game offers special strikes and finishing moves too. Can this game get any better. Oh yes it can. Not only does the game has a lot to offer inthe gameplay, but the graphics are sweet too. Camera controls are nice and the camera doesn't switch angles on you un-expectedly.
I give this game 8.5 out of 10 stars. And i would highly recomend it.

X2 was an ok game I have played better but there are so many that were worse. Its like Spiderman only better the game play is easy to learn and doesn't take hours to figure out. Graphics are pretty good in most areas but could use some work in others over all I have to say this game was worth the money and I would recommend you rent it at least but I think after you rental period you will going to local gaming store to pick up your copy of X2.I give it a solid 8 out of 10.

Does an angel hold a sign,
with directions for everyone?
Is there someone there to have and hold for me?
If the stars refuse to shine do you change?
In my own shame, when heavens not far away
