It's a pretty straightforward question - how involved your answer is depends on you. Is the threat of imprisonment (or the death penalty in some places) the only thing preventing you from killing someone? Or are moral reasons enough to keep you in line?

Imagine also that there would be no other repercussions such as revenge attacks from relatives of the victim, etc. So the decision is entirely your own, with no consequences other than the direct result of the act, and any effect it may have on your conscience.

In other words, if you could get away with it completely, would you commit murder? Or is it something you would never wish to do, or couldn't bring yourself to do if you wanted to?

Probably. I could do it and I probably would at least a few times in my life. I have no second thoughts with harming someone and I have felt like punishing people in the name of vengeance many times, but haven't. I wouldn't kill in cold blood, but only kill only in vengeance.

Yeah, I'm a frickin' psycho. :cool:

I don't know im torn on this question of course I would like to kill some people who wouldnt.I would hate the fact that some of the most famous murders who never be heard of and what would be the reason to kill if not to be heard of it would be no big deal because everyone would do it. I have to say if im going to kill someone I want people to know me I don't want to be another shadow just another face just another drone if I can bring my self to kill someone I want to be punished and I want people to know what I have done. On the other hand I personally don't think I have it in me to kill someone maybe hurt them but I could kill anyone no matter what there's times like if someone rape or abuses someone of course I would love to kill them but I cant because morally I know it wrong I don't need a law to me that its wrong to end someone life. Also you have to think if murder was legal how much time before rape is legal or before you can legally molest an under age girl or boy or after the rapist has done his thing he can just kill them and burn the body and never face any consequences for his action so no i wouldn't kill someone no matter what but if murder has no consequences i would kill my self because it would be a shitty world one that i would not want to be part of one that would just be chaos and be run by cold bloody murders and innocent people looking over there shoulder it would be just plain and simple hell.

It's pretty much like that now, only the murderers that get away with frequent deaths without being punished are the people that pull the strings in this world. It's just that their money and power over people can cover up or make people blind to their dirty deeds.

Very true Kraul,I am not proud to be apart of this world I think the world is a shitty place now but with nothing stopping people from killing one and other it would be 10x as bad. I think if there was no law stopping people from murder than it would be common there would be so many more deaths we would whip are self out I know in time we will be the end of the world but by telling people you can kill and not have any worry we would speed up the process. There is going to be murder no matter what no question all im saying is that right now we have some control not much because people get away with murder all the time but we do have some control but by not having consequences we would have no control and this shitty world would become so much worse.

I can honestly say that if there was no consiquences, the person dies within 20 minutes everyone forgot they ever existed, I could more likly than not do it. I mean, give me the knife and see what I say, but from this stand point, there are some people who I wouldn't overly miss if they suddenly were out of my life forever and a day.

But as we all know there would be consiquences so I could NEVER do it.

In my life right now, I could never do that to anyone. There are people i strongly dislike but nobody that i hate enough to go and kill, cosequences or not. Even if there was, i doubt i'd be able to kill a person. I mean it takes alot for somebody to make me mad enough to bitch them out, i can only imagine wht they would do to make me wanna kill em.

I couldnt kill someone, but If they pissed me off enought Id give them a good ass kicking, but would assult still be illegal? if so then Id be fu*ked.

I know if you killed someone they couldnt charge you with murder, but they could slap a few other charges on there like intension to inflict grevious bodily harm & things along that line.

It depends on who. If this person was asking for by their actions, then I'd do it and feel like Ive helped those who that person has made suffer. Kind of a revenge thing.

Or I'd be a hired assain who kills for money because that sounds lucritive.
