Perez Hilton on Raw
Celebrity gossip blogger Perez Hilton, who recently went through Divas Boot Camp with Alicia Fox, Kelly Kelly and Eve, will be a special guest ring announcer on tonight's Raw SuperShow!

Will Ryder Compete?
On tonight's Raw SuperShow, Zack Ryder is scheduled to put his U.S. Championship on the line against The All-American American Jack Swagger. But after last week's brutal attack by Kane, will Ryder be ready to compete? Get the latest on his condition.

According to this story on WWE.com, Swagger's shot at the US Title is compensation from John Laurinaitis for the referee's bad call in his WWE Title match last week.

On a side note, as you may have already heard, the Tag Team Titles changed hands at a house show over the weekend, when Primo & Epico defeated Air Boom.

Thankfully Hilton only had one short segment. I was rooting for Cena to destroy Swagger; you prove the point after Cena mutilates Swagger with the steps, Kane. I'm really on Johnny Ace's side. Sure he's a bumbling baffoon who might be over his head as GM, but he's doing the best he can and but Punk being a complete dick unwarranted week in and week out doesn't help matters. Ace nicely towed the line between neutral and heel, but it's clear Punk finally pushed him over the edge.

Who knows... Johnny may end up being slightly more exciting than watching paint dry after all... as long as  this stuff with Punk goes on forever...

Pretty good show overall.. glad I was watching on the dvr so I could fly past the Funk crap and Perez Hilton.. was there even a point to that?  :-/

Funk crap? Please tell me you aren't talking about Brodus Clay. He is awesome.

Looks like he IS a roll.. ate too many rolls.. whatever.. Do Not tell me this is the best they could with Brodus Clay...it's a damn shame to build up this big "return" and this is what it turns out to be.. Clay deserves better...

What would be better? Getting the gimmick of a big bad heel? False. He'd be lost at sea. There's no way he'd be able to bump Show and Henry from their pedestal, so he'd go the way of Zeke and Khali by ultimately ending on the sidelines wrestling dark matches, or worse. He's probably ending up there with this gimmick as well, but at least it is different enough to keep him on the scene a little longer.

  • Clay just did the exact same as last week, only not as smoothly and without the shock factor. It's a decent gimmick and I agree that it gives him more scope than a generic monster heel, but this was a boring retread.

Punk's promo on the other hand was excellent. The best segment he's had on the mic in a while.

When the fluorescent Sheamus came out to save R-Truth, I thought they were going to be teamed up as some kind of statement on Martin Luther King Day...

Loved Cena embracing the hate. Not 100% logical as he had more justification and motivation to hunt down and do that to Kane instead of Swagger, but I guess John's just a big ol' chicken who prefers an easier target.
