Would people get more use out of the WX Chat room if official, regular chat sessions were organized? For example, every Tuesday and Friday at specific times?

Right now, I can imagine people not bothering to load up the chat room because in all likelihood, it's going to be empty. That's why I started that thread in Off Topic, but if there were regular sessions scheduled for the same time every week, it might make it easier and more attractive for people to attend.

What do you think?

that could work, but the only problem is the time zone aspect of the chat room, like half of you have the same round about time, but some one like me would have to get up at like the middle of the night to get on the chat.

but I guess we could work around that problem cause PPV's are shown live at around noon here, so a Chat at night in the US would be ok for me, unless its a weekday, ie im at school or some other thing.

Yeah, that crossed my mind too (obviously, being in the British time zone). What I'd suggest is that (taking Wednesday and Friday as examples) the Wednesday session would be held at a time which is "normal" for someone in your part of the world, while still catering for the "knightkraulers" amongst our North American membership. Then the Friday session could be held at a "normal" time in America while still being accessible (albeit rather late) to British posters. I'm sure it could work, if we thought carefully about it.
