I find Amelia boring and her pink her looks stupid. I wouldn't have minded her going. I'm glad boring Craig has gone too. I just wish boring Janet would have gone too.

Glad Misha got through too, because it means next week she can do an up tempo/rap type song which I miss her doing, plus the slow ''safe' songs they've had her doing recently.

Also I liked Gary Barlow for his honesty, but again he showed blind faith for his own acts this weekend, being a total hypocrite in the process. Saying song choice isn't important and is a useless comment despite using the criticism himself before, and then insulting Amelia by saying she shouted her way through the sing off. Rather than honest and constructive he became just plain mean this week.

So we have our final three. I'd be happy with either Marcus or Amelia Lily winning. Just so long as it's not Little Mix, and I don't think it will be. "They're four no'mal gewls" can only get you so far.

  • I would be more than happy for Marcus to win, but OK with Little Mix winning. I'll rip my face off of my face if Amelia wins.

So I guess as a compromise, WX is officially behind Marcus to win.

If Amelia wins I'll post a nude photo in the X-Rated forum. I'm quite confident she won't win though. Obviously. But I think she's being really pushed down our throats by everyone - especially Louis. And if Louis backs you, you're toast. Also, she's been in the bottom two, and was kicked out originally, and I don't think anyone has ever won when they've been in a sing off. I think Marcus is the only one that hasn't. In fact me just posting this is making me hate Amelia even more, because what if she does win, and makes me either post that photo or back out of it. What a fucking whore.

So it's one of the few times the producers have gotten behind someone who's actually worth the effort, instead of an Eggnog or a Frankie or a Lloyd. If they're pulling the strings for her to win then I'm more than happy for them to get their way this time, as they've finally picked a good 'un.

There's a hilarious story here with Janet Devlin complaining about her time on the show: "I was just covering other people's songs and it got to the point that I just felt like a karaoke artist every Saturday night." Erm, what exactly was she expecting when she applied?

I've heard the judges will be singing alongside their acts for the final, which I guess they can get away with now that Louis doesn't have any finalists. That would've been something to see.

I think I'm going for Little Mix to win this year. They've won me over. And Marcus hasn't been given any good song choices recently, or tonight. Plus him dueting with Gary Barlow had the unfortunate side effect of making me wish it was just Gary Barlow on his own, with his silky smooth tones.

I hate that Little Mix are through and Amelia isn't, but based solely on tonight I can kind of understand. Amelia's choice of songs, especially the first one, left a lot to be desired and they weren't really stand our performances. Little Mix meanwhile were actually good for a change, so they picked the right week to start delivering the goods. Overall it's a damn shame, but as has been pointed out several times, it's not the last we've heard of Amelia Lily.

Seeing that Little Mix have now gotten this far, I fear for Marcus's chances tomorrow night as I think the writing's on the wall - there's a groundswell of support for Tulisa's "little muffins" and the kind of voters who get swept up in that kind of mindset outnumber those in the X Factor audience who actually have an interest in the acts' vocal ability.

YES! Can't tell you how much I dislike Amelia...for no real reason. I guess she's just the one this year I've chosen to hate. But I just think she can't sing at all, isn't good looking because of all the make up and stupid pink highlights, has an annoying laugh.... Anyway, this is my perfect final. I don't mind who wins at this point, but later when they've performed the winner's songs etc then I might choose someone. Right now I'm leaning towards Little Mix just because I like that they've made it this far, and they're a girl band and it'd be the first time a band has won.

Of all the groups who've been on the show, if Little Mix are the ones to break the glass ceiling it'll be a travesty. Jedward had more right to win, because at least they stood out. If Little Mix's ride ends here, no one will remember them in a year's time, and even now if you passed any of them in the street (apart from the one who looks like Carol Vorderman's cake-friendly daughter) they wouldn't spark even a hint of recognition.

  • Well this is in the bag for Little Mix. The producers are well and truly behind them, and compared to Marcus they're probably right to see more marketability in a girl group. Any girl group. They wouldn't be able to manage as successful a career for someone with his style.

That was great. Awesome final show.

I thought Wembley would make it a bit shit, but it worked for this one off show, especially when Coldplay performed.

Really happy for Little Mix, and they deserved it. I really like their winner's song too. Marcus a worthy runner up.

They had one good weekend in a twelve-week competition, but their win makes for a bigger, more bankable story.

I agree they had the better version of the winner's song. But it would have been very hard for any solo act to impress against a group with the option to harmonize on the same track. If both acts sang to the same standard, theirs was always going to sound more epic and better produced.

The Christmas song that Marcus had was never going to inspire any votes either, no matter how many people would rank it in their top ten. Silent Night on the other hand is one that will always provoke gasps of "That was beautiful!" no matter who sings it (within reason). Marcus probably isn't without blame there, as he and Gary might have been able to pick a more impactful song if they'd kicked up a stink. Neither seem the type to do that though, whereas you know Tulisa would.

As I said though, it made sense from a business standpoint to push Little Mix because they're the ones that Cowell can make the most money with. As good as he is, I can't see Marcus having much of a shelf life in the mainstream unfortunately.
