I'm sharing with Illy, so rent will be 200-250 a month each (400-500 rent total). Bills will be the only problem but we don't drink or smoke or waste money. It's the little things that will add up like Council Tax, TV license, water bills, etc.

We haven't worked it out properly yet like we did when he moved to England, cause it's pointless until we're both working the job full time and it becomes a possible reality. But based on what we spent the last couple of years I think we'd manage. I know we could do it on £400 a month because we worked that out before, it's just whether we could sacrifice that £40 a month each.

Ethan, in your line of work, is it reasonable to expect a salary above 24,000?

Yes depending on what you do and your market. You can easily be making 30k a year again dependent upon your market and you're position.

Turns out I'm not getting paid at work until the 18th October, and I'm not happy about it. I'm having to eat into my overdraft which I found out today they charge me for.

So I guess somewhere above £0.00 and I'll be happy.

The more money I have, the happier I would be. A lot of people get a lot of their happiness from mundane everyday experiences or from other people. I'm much more materialistic.
