WXF HYSTERIA RESULTS!!!
« on: April 17, 2003, 02:47:19 PM »

WXF HYSTERIA! is now a thing of the past ladies and gentlemen, but the show will not soon be forgotten!

The night kicked off with Trapt playing the HYSTERIA! theme song "Headstrong" to a very hot and excited New York City crowd!

Booker T vs. Ron Simmons
Simmons was accompanied to the ring by Ron Killings, whose aid Simmons came to at Hell on Earth one month ago.  Booker didn't seem at all rattled by Killings' presence and took the fight strong to Simmons.  During the match, Booker T and Simmons traded some stiff shots, with Booker landing a lot of kicks on his opponent.  Booker had Simmons set up for the Book End, when Killings jumped on the apron to distract the ref!  Just then, Stevie Ray came from out of the crowd and over the gaurd rail to attack Killings!  In the ring, Booker T nailed Simmons with the Book End and followed it up with the axe kick for the pin!  After the match, Booker and his brother celebrated their reunion!  Look out WXF....HARLEM HEAT IS BACK!!!!  What a way to start the night!
Winner:  Booker T

Street Fight
The Undertaker vs. Shane Douglas

Undertaker and Shane both had something to prove in this match.  Shane wanted to make a big name for himself in the WXF by defeating the legendary Undertaker, and what better time to challenge Taker after he was just set on fire at the hands of Vampiro last month.  Undertaker wanted to prove to himself that he still is the big dog and that the wrestling ring is his yard.  Well the term "sheer brutality" doesn't even begin to describe what this match was all about.  It was Pride vs. Self Gain, and neither man was going to go down softly.  They went balls to the wall.  Undertaker and Shane at one point, battled to the top of the arena.  It was then that the Undertaker chokeslammed Shane Douglas down an entire flight of stairs!  EVERYONE thought that Shane was dead - no lie.  Taker peeled Douglas' lifeless body off the floor and dragged him down the ring where he put Douglas on the mat.  Taker brought the steel ring steps into the ring and proceeded to Last Ride Shane Douglas onto them!  Taker then picked up the pin.
Winner by pinfall:  The Undertaker

WXF Women's World Championship Six Pack Challenge
Victoria (champion) vs. Asya vs. Lita vs. Luna Vachon vs. Mae Young vs. Gail Kim

This match was nonstop action!  Each woman brough their own style to the match, which made for an entertaining mix.  Victoria brought a technical approach to the action.  Luna Vachon used a brawling inspired offense.  Asya was the powerhouse.  Lita and Gail Kim were flying high all over the place!  And Mae Young....well Mae was trying to expose her puppies at every given chance!  Asya and Luna focused primarily on Victoria, while Gail and Lita were attempting to outdo one another with some severe and innovative high flying aerial tactics!  And Mae Young was trying to expose her puppies at every given chance!  Thank God one of the women in the match was always there to stop Mae just in time!  The finish of the match went like this:  Asya hit Luna with a stiff powerbomb, to which Gail Kim responded by nailing Asya with an incredible hurricanrana!  Gail began to play to the crowd a little and walked right into a Litacanrana!  Lita picked up Gail and set her up for the twist of fate, when suddenly Mae Young took off her top and exposed her wrinkled and disgusting breasts!  Lita was caught off guard by this display and dropped Gail.  Victoria took advantage of Mae's diversion by getting Lita in the Widow's Peak!  The ref counted 3, and Victoria retained the title!  Mae decided to jump the guard rail and ran on off - topless - into the crowd!
Winner by Pin and STILL WXF Women's World Champion:  Victoria

Vampiro vs. Brock Lesnar
Brock was ready and anxious, but Vampiro looked really calm and collected.  As the match progressed, it was clear that Brock had the strength advantage, but after every single move Brock hit on Vampiro, Vampiro just sucked it up and laughed and smiled!  Brock was definately taken off his game by Vampiro's tactics.  Brock hit Vampiro with everything he had.  Finally, Brock set Vampiro up for the F-5!  But Vampiro countered the move and fought his way out.  Vampiro then hit the Nail in the Coffin on Brock!  You've got to believe that if Vampiro pinned Brock right then and there that the match would've been over.  But instead of going for the pin Vampiro just smiled.  He then shouted these words: "I told you I had something big planned!  I told you! They are here!  They are here!"  Just then the lights went out.  When they came back on, Brock Lesnar was lying in the ring doused in blood!  Vampiro was stading over Lesnar's lifeless body and standing at his sides were Raven, Gangrel, and Daffney Unger!  After a couple of seconds of taunting Lesnar and the crowd, the foursome walked out of the ring and into the back.  The referee then enforced his 10 count and counted Vampiro out of the match, but Vampiro didn't care one bit.  He accomplished what he had set out to do.  One can only wonder what these four have in store for the WXF!
Winner by Count Out:  Brock Lesnar

AJ Styles w/ Bret "Hitman" Hart vs. Shawn Michaels
AJ came to the ring very confident with Hart by his side.  When Michaels entered, he and Hart stared each other down, nose-to-nose in the middle of the ring.  Not a word was spoken between the two, but if looks could kill, then both men would be six feet under right now!  The match began and Michaels took it to Styles.  Styles was frazzled!  It was obvious that Styles had never before faced an opponent of Michaels' calibur.  Hart was constantly shouting out things to AJ during the match, but these commands were also being heard by Michaels who was able to capitalize on this by anticipating every move Styles was going to make.  Finally, AJ got out of his rut, and was able to take Michaels down with some innovative offense.  Styles' hit a series of kicks on Micheals' that took HBK completely off his game.  Just when AJ was going to the top, Michaels dug deep inside and was able to get up and throw Styles off the top rope!  Michaels was then tuning up the orchestra for some Sweet Swin Music!  AJ got to his feet and Michaels kicked, but AJ ducked the move, and responded with a stiff superkick of his own!  Michaels was laid out!  Then, Hart called for the sharpshooter from outside the ring.  AJ locked the sharpshooter in on HBK, and after a good four minutes and thirty seconds exactly, Michaels tapped out.  Bret ran into the ring and celebrated with his young protege!  Michaels was left in the ring a beaten mess.
Winner by Submission:  AJ Styles

WXF Hardcore Championship Triple Threat Match
Raven vs. Mick Foley vs. Sabu

Earlier in the night, we saw Raven make his WXF debut alongside Vampiro, Gangrel, and Daffney Unger, but this was the first time Raven would be in a WXF match.  Mick Foley received a huge ovation from the very excited WXF crowd!  Every single thing you could possibly imagine was used as a weapon in this match!  Eventually the wrestlers fought their way to the back, where Sabu took himself out of the match when he attempted a suicide dive through a glass window!  Unfortunately for Sabu, Raven and Foley moved out of the way and Sabu crashed through the window and landed hard on the cement floor!  Rave and Foley then went out to the parking lot and continued their brawl out there.  Just then, Raven lifted Mick Foley onto a car and deliver the Evenflow DDT to Foley right on the hood of the car!  Raven was about to go for the pin, when from out of nowhere, a very angry and revenge seeking Brock Lesnar ran up on Raven and delivered an F-5 to Raven right on the concrete ground!  Brock then proceeded to roll Mick on top of Raven and the referee counted three!  Mick Foley won the match!
Winner by Pin and the FIRST WXF Hardcore Champion:  Mick Foley

Madusa vs. Molly Holly
The two women attacked each other as soon as the bell rung!  They tore each other apart!  The hatred between the two was present.  It was a driving factor for each one.  Molly had the upper hand early in the match, but the momentum quickly shifted to Madusa's favor, and she began to mat-wrestle Ms. Holly.  Madusa locked Molly in surfboard submission.  Molly rolled out of it and began to brawl with  Madusa rather than wrestle her.  Molly landed some great punches on Madusa.  Madusa then took the match over, by demonstrating her martial arts background on Molly.  Molly and Madusa were wearing one another down.  Neither could put the other woman away.  Madusa locked Molly into a cobra clutch.  Just then we heard the words "What Up Mach?  Oh Yeah!" blare out of the speakers!  It was him!  Randy Savage was here!  He walked down the ring and Madusa broke the hold.  She walked over the Savage and asked him what he was doing there and Savage began arguing with her.  Molly then capitalized on Savage's distraction and rolled up Madusa, but Madusa rolled through the move and bridged it allowing her to pin Molly!  Madusa won the match despite Savage's distraction!  Molly was pissed and Madusa high-tailed it out of the arena and left Molly and Savage in the ring together.
Winner by Pin:  Madusa

Jeff Jarrett vs. Steve Austin
Jarrett tried to outwrestle Austin, and Austin tried to outbrawl Jeff Jarrett.  The result:  a stalemate.  Both men were reluctant to go down easy.  The fact that this match could effect their standing in the World Title picture motivated both men to win.  As the match went on, the intensity and heat between both men increased.  The match somehow transformed into a business matter into a personal one.  For some reason, I guess the competitive nature of the two took over, they became hell bent on destroying one another!  Austin grabbed a chair, Jarrett grabbed his guitar and the two swung at each other!  The guitar smashed against the chair and Jarrett moved quickly and the chair nailed the referee in the head!  Jarrett and Austin began brawling with everything they could find!  When the ref came to, he rang the bell and declared the match to be a double disqualification!  Security and WXF officials ran out to separate both men!
Double Disqualificiation

After this match, Tammy Sytch stood in the ring.  She said that she was there to announce who the winner of the WXF Presidential election was.  She reminded us that this President was voted by the fans.  With over 50% of the votes in his favor, she presented the world to the first WXF President.....VINCE RUSSO!  "Iron Man" blared throughout the arena while Vince Russo made his way to the ring.  He received a mixed reaction from the fans in attendance.  He then got on the mic and said that he was here to make the WXF a much better place.  He said he is going to make this the best wrestling promotion that the world has ever seen!  Russo said he has a couple of revolutionary ideas, but before he does anything he was forced to make his first decision as president earlier in the evening.  Russo announced that Ron Killings was injured by the attack he suffered at the hands of Stevie Ray and as a result couldn't compete against Chris Jericho.  So Russo decided that he needed to talk to Chris face to face.  Jericho came out to the ring and didn't say a word.  Russo did most of the talking.  Russo told Jericho that since he has made a lot of enemies in the past, he wasn't sure how safe he was here in the WXF.  So he made Jericho a you-scratch-my-back-i'll-scratch-yours offer.  Russo told Jericho that if Jericho decided to be Russo's right hand man, his muscle, his influence, then Russo would handsomely reward him.  Jericho asked what the reward would be.  Russo responded by pointing to the entrance ramp.  After a couple of seconds passed, Russo's suprise walked into the WXF arena....it was Tylene Buck (aka Major Gunns)!  Jericho was extremely pleased as Tylene walked into the ring and was all over Jericho like white on rice.  Then Russo informed Jericho, that Tylene was just the first reward.  The second reward...a guaranteed shot at the WXF World Heavyweight Championship at the next PPV!  Jericho jumped on Russo's offer and joined our new president!  Russo, Jericho, and Tylene all walked into the back together.

WXF North American Championship Tag Team Match
Chris Benoit (champion) and Jerry Lynn vs. Syxx-Pac and Joanie Laurer

Benoit and Syxx-Pac started the match.  The two had some nice exchanges and Benoit was seemingly the dominant one.  Syxx tagged in Joanie and she began to take the fight the Benoit.  Benoit tagged in Lynn, and Lynn exploded into the ring with a top-rope cross body that left Joanie reeling!  Lynn and Joanie traded the upper hand a few times, before Joanie tagged Syxx back into the match.  Syxx began to crush the now tired and weakened Lynn.  Lynn mustered up enough energy to nail Syxx with an enziguri and tag in Benoit!  Benoit came into the ring and exploded with a series of German suplexes on Syxx!  Benoit went for the cover, and Jerry Lynn broke the count!  Benoit was pissed that his partner would do that, and it was clear to him now that he was facing three opponents instead of two.  While Benoit and Lynn were having words, Syxx tagged in Joanie.  Joanie attacked Benoit from behind and nailed him with a german suplex of her own.  Jerry Lynn went under the ring and grabbed a chair.  Joanie threw Benoit off the rope and Lynn smacked Benoit's back with the chair!  The ref didn't see it due to poor positioning and Joanie capitalized by powerbombing Benoit and going for the pin.  When the ref reached two, Syxx Pac ran into the ring and pulled Joanie off of Benoit!  Joanie got in Syxx's face and she pushed him.  Then Syxx pushed her and Joanie fell into the referree.  The ref was knocked out.  Joanie got up and shoved Syxx again.  Then Syxx spin kicked Joanie to the ground.  Jerry Lynn ran into the ring and attacked Syxx.  Benoit decided to capitalize on the ref being down and get revenge on Lynn.  Benoit went the outside and got the steel chair, brought it into the ring, and leveled Lynn with it!  Benoit didn't stop there as he then nearly took Syxx's head off with the chair.  Joanie tried to sneak up behind him, but Benoit anticipated that and turned around just in time!  He then locked Joanie into the crippler crossface!  When the ref regained his composure, Joanie was tapping like crazy!  Benoit was the only one left standing and walked away with the strap still around his waist.
Winner by Submission and STILL North American Champion:  Chris Benoit

WXF Tag Team Championship
The Dudley Boyz (champions) vs. The Rock and Bill Goldberg

The Dudley Boyz came to the ring first.  Leaving everyone in anticipation over who would be accompanying Rock and Goldberg to the ring.  Finally the two made their entrance, and they were joined by their new manager......Shane McMahon!  The Dudleyz were frazzled!  Everyone was stunned!  A McMahon was now in the WXF!  What's next...or should I say "Who's Next" because Goldberg started the match off and tore D'von up!  The Rock and Goldberg owned the match, and with Shane McMahon's presence were able to come out on top.  After the match, Shane called for wood, and Goldberg and Rock put the Dudley brothers through tables.
Winners by Pin and NEW WXF Tag Team Champions:  The Rock and Bill Goldberg

WXF World Heavyweight Championship
Triple H (champion) w/Ric Flair vs. Sting

Sting and Triple H started the match by sizing one another up.  They circled each other a bit before locking up.  Sting began to wrestle Triple H right out of his boots!  It was now clear to the Game that his strength was his best asset in this match...well maybe the next best thing to Ric Flair's presence.  Sting positioned the Game in the corner, and went for the Stinger splash.  Triple H had the move well scouted and moved causing Sting to hit his head on the turnbuckle!  Triple H then used his power to dominate the Stinger.  After a powerlsam and a facebuster, Triple H put the figure four on Sting - shades of Ric Flair were present during that moment.  Flair was "Wooo"ing like a madman outside the ring.  Sting dug deep down and reversed the hold!  Triple H got to the ropes to break the hold.  When both men got to their feet Triple H attempted the Pedigree, but Sting blocked the move and countered it into the Scorpion Death Lock!  Flair got onto the apron and Sting broke the hold and went over to Flair and pulled Naitch into ring by his hair!  Sting chopped Flair til no end and whipped him into the corner!  Then Sting ran full force toward Naitch and nailed him with the Stinger Splash!  When Sting turned around, Triple H threw a punch and Sting ducked the punch and went behind Triple H and took him down with the Scorpion Death Drop! Sting covered the champ and the ref counted 1-2-3!  Your new World Champion...The Man They Call Sting!
Winner by Pin and NEW WXF World Heavyweight Champion: Sting

There you have it folks!  Interviews conducted by Tammy Sytch and Terri Runnels will be posted later!  Oh what a night it was!!!

That was pretty good. I like the fact that Raven is teamed up with Vampiro and Gangrel, seeing that those are two favorites of mine. But as for Brock beating Raven up [cartman]that totally sucks ass, dude.[/cartman] :p

Good show, though.

Nothing is better than The Rock and Shane on the same team! You made my day. The only thing better would be if Goldberg wasn't there! LOL. But seriously, good job. Let's go get a Frosty!
