I hope other people in the UK (I assume its blocked around the world like these things usually are) watch that. I think it clears things up and you can see that they are rational people just raising their kid like any other parent. When I have kids I think I'll raise them in the same way. Even before this story came around I thought that I wouldn't do things like buy blue for a boy or pink for a girl, so it's not like I'm thinking "oh this experiment has worked for them, maybe I'll experiment with my kids." Because it's not an experiment. We're just on the same wavelength I think about social gender conformity etc.

I think two things are very clear from that clip though. Kate has obviously talked privately about how disapproving she is of it all and has her own opinions about how its wrong to 'experiment' with your kids and all of the bad comments people have said. She has kids herself so she probably resents the assumption that she did something wrong by buying her daughter a tiara and barbie doll. Her comment at the end seemed a bit barbed, "you know this is all pointless and he's going to join the army lol". And secondly, who would prefer that blithering idiot instead of Adrian Charles in the mornings.

Adrian Charles isn't a blithering idiot?  I used to get my debates on interesting subjects from SMTV live and Live & Kicking, since they ended it hasn't been the same.

  • Adrian Chiles is the definition of blithering idiot. I can barely watch him. Dan Lobb's the next Noel Edmunds by comparison.

    Haven't watched the clip, mind.
