    • Since we did not have a thread about this, I decided to create one.  :yes:

    The Wrestling Observer has now confirmed that Tyler Black has indeed inked a deal with WWE and is expected to report to Florida Championship Wrestling within the next 6 weeks. It's being reported that Black is expected to drop the ROH Title within the next 5 weeks, at which point he will begin working with FCW.

    If by "first world champion to show up on another network's television program" he means any world title, not just the ROH belt, then he's forgetting Mike Awesome and, arguably, Ric Flair.

    I cringed when he said that "first World Champion" bit and immediately thought of Flair. I didn't even think of Awesome.

    Also: Tazz was ECW World Heavyweight Champion while in the WWF (while ECW was still a non-WWE entity) so...
