On the site I was on it said that, I didnt check when the article was posted so don't know how up to date it was. And when I was typing that post ^, I went to the AT&T faq page and it said "on messaging enabled phones that allow sending and receiving text messages, the charge is 0.20$" or something, so it was still ambiguous and I wasn't sure if it meant both ways. But the article I read about text message prices was saying "first it cost 0.20 to send and was free to receive, then it was 10 cents each way so you ended up paying the same amount anyway, now they've upped it to 20 cents each way".
Iunno how they can get away with that, its bad enough you get charged to receive a text from abroad but how can they be such a big company over there if they are charging 20 cents just to receive a text. I'm guessing they wouldn't be alone in charging for it either or they wouldn't have any customers, so must be a general American thing.
