You might notice you can't get into WXtra using the X-Directory code now. That's because we've improved the method of granting access, but to do so, people will have to be given access individually.

Right now, outside of staff members, the only person who can view WXtra is Queen Scoop. She can grant you access by going to your profile and clicking the 'SPONSOR' link that she'll see beneath your avatar there. Once you are sponsored, you will have access to WXtra without using a code, and can also sponsor other people.

I know it will be a pain to begin with, but in the long term this is a much more secure method of restricting access than simply sharing a code that anyone could use. This way, we know exactly who has access to WXtra. It says so in their profiles.

Once Scoop has sponsored one or two members, please don't all bombard her with requests, as there'll be more potential sponsors to choose from. We just had to start somewhere.

I should point out that a straightforward WXtra link is being added to the top of the board, since the idea is to bypass the X-Directory. On the main skin, look beside the Facebook link above the horizontal line. The keypad may stick around though, if we can find another use for it.

The link is no longer in this spot, as you can see. The big WXtra logo at the top-right of every page on every skin is where you need to click now to get in.

The X-Directory is still hanging around, but there are currently no codes in use. That may change in the future...
