From a story standpoint, why is Scott Steiner wrestling Jesse Neil when Shannon Moore was the guy that pissed Scott off?

Posting my thoughts as I watch Impact.

Really good opening segment. The Hebners, Anderson, Sting, RVD all came off really good here. Only question I have is, wasn't RVD concussed last week? I guess he was just high.

Still never really like Eric Bischoff's heel GM character.

Good start to the show however. Lockdown Main Event set...3 way in a cage.

Guess the preview was wrong. It's Steiner vs Moore. That makes sense.

Listen to Shannon Moore cutting a good promo. If Only Scott Steiner could cut one with out saying the word "bitch"

Bully Ray seems angry.

YES! British Invasion Back!! If they aren't going to use these guys in a singles push, they might as well put them back together. The TNA Tag scene really needed them. Shouldn't be too far off that these guys feud with Beer Money.

As for the match, correct me if I am wrong, but that sounded like piped in "boo's" to me. I don't even think the crowd was really into the match at all.

Generation Me feud could be good. They will put on great matches. However, if TNA wants the feud to take off and there two guys to get some build up, they are going to have to intensify the feud and start to get a little more vicious along the way.

Seems like Angelina is drinking some kind of drug that Winter is using to brainwash her. Decent match between Winter and Sky. I'm still willing to give this story some time to develop. Can still be good I think.

Sting and Anderson brawl again. Out comes Immortal for the 3 on 2. RVD comes out and...only saves Sting!    Leaves Anderson to get beat down. Sting recovers enough to clear the ring and still pops Anderson again. Nice.

Jarrett and Karen...meh.

I like the way they are doing the backstage interviews like with Velvet. They basically took the Reaction style and added it to Impact. Gives them a different look and feel that I like.

Angle vs...Rob Terry. Terry may be the worst TNA wrestler there is. He is totally a waste of air time.

Kurt gets arrested. Art, this is life.

I prefer comedy Kurt to serious Kurt.

Fortune looks like they are going to help Sting. They keep saying the 4 of us and they got of the phone with someone that landed at the airport so we should get to see a returning AJ I would think.

Sting jumps Anderson before they can get into the cage. And they say Anderson is an asshole! That leaves RVD to get triple teamed inside the cage after Flair nutshots him and tosses him inside. Sting comes in to help. Anderson finally recovers...pulls up a chair and sits down outside the cage. What an Asshole!

Hogan comes down in a back brace...yes, a back brace, He can barely walk to the ring. And then he tell Anderson to get in the ring. When he says "No", Hogan hits him and throws him into the ring...a back brace I said.

Anderson costs his team the match and then bails. Fortune comes down to try to make the save. Flair locks the door and Immortal gets the upper hand. Blood is flowing then...from out of the crowd...and climbing the cage...FUCK YEAH! Christopher Daniels baby! Don't blow it TNA. Make him a main player!!

Love the way they are actually building up this ppv weeks in advance. That's a great job by TNA. Usually it's a week before the ppv and the entire card hasn't even been announced. This tie around, they have really set it up nicely.

Daniels is basically taking AJ's spot in Fortune until he recovers. I wonder what happens after AJ comes back?

  • This was a fun show for the most part. The main event and all the stuff surrounding the match was great. I like the Winter/Beautiful People story, and enjoyed Eric Young on commentary. The only part I didn't take much notice of was the Generation Me match, because I agree with Purps that this feud leaves a lot to be desired. I just can't buy into the idea that they don't get along. I'm always going to be expecting them to bury the hatchet in some third party's back, because it's like they're play acting (which of course they are, but their acting sucks).
