I think that's a good idea. There was interest in a TNA predictions league when we started the WWE one, but no one ever got around to making it happen. Any volunteers?

While not an official statement, perhaps I can shed some light on all of this nonsense.

We're getting ready to switch domains, in change with the theme of this thread. Heady has been working hard on the new launch, and we're pretty excited about some of the new stuff we're going to have to offer in the coming weeks.

As for now, the main page will likely continue to link directly to the forums until everything is finalized. (Heady, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on this one.)

That's exactly right Gopher. Right now the root directory (that is, what you get if you type "prowrestlingheadlines.com" without the "/forums") contains edited files for WX instead of the newsboard that used to be there. They're not fit for consumption just yet, so 99% of the time you'll be redirected to "/forums". The only time you won't be is when I've temporarily disabled the redirect in order to test those files myself. I'd recommend always coming straight to "/forums" for the time being.

When the switch takes place, it'll instead be "/forums" that redirects to the root, but using the WX domain instead of PWH.

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it sign up and post. And if you did, it would just be another neigh-sayer.

But you're right, it is a quandary. There's obviously not enough enticing them to get involved, and maybe that's something we can adjust with the impending relaunch of WX.

Welcome to WrestleXpress. :wx: (RagingCalm used to say it much better.)

You're looking at the new default skin, although the old PWH themes still remain as options (edits to these are ongoing). The anniversary WX Retro skin is gone, as it's impossible to maintain on a long term basis - it was converted from an Invision skin and does not play nicely with SMF at all. Another new one will be added soon, for those who don't like dark backgrounds.

Two new sections have been introduced: WXtra and X-Rated. Both require a secret code to gain entry. Current members will be given this, and after that, it's up to others to request the code once they've earned the trust and respect of their peers.

As far as bringing in those new members, our new technique is a work in progress, not yet ready for consumption but I can't wait to see it in action.

Today sees the relaunch of both WX and the Monday Night Wars. It's an exciting time to be here.

I can't use dark skins (the contrast gives me migraines), but it looks amazing. A lot of small details that make it great, such as the rollover color effect on the forum homepage. I never thought I would see a pornography forum here.

Don't forget to update your bookmarks everyone. The PWH domain currently redirects everything to WX, but that won't be kept around forever. The address you want to use now is wrestlexpress.com - add it to your favorites.

Fan, I'll probably have the X-Directory added to the other skins tomorrow, so you'll still be able to make use of WXtra without inducing migraines. Unless the show's that bad. ;)

I like the name change and the new layout and additions. I also love the darker skin. If Kraul were still alive, he'd finally have a dark skin to browse with.  Nicely done Headliner.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a new favicon? That's the little icon that represents the website in your browser, currently this:

Putting the whole WX logo shrinks it too much, and I thought this looked kinda cool on browser tabs, with the 'W' on the left and the 'X' (that you click to close the tab) on the right. However, the more I see this icon, the more it reminds me of this logo:

And I don't know about you, but the only time I want to be reminded of that logo is via this version:

So what do you think? Should we just replace the 'W' with the 'X' of the same style? Would it be easily identifiable in a list of bookmarks? How about a smiley of some kind, or would that be too generic?

Fan, or anyone else who can't use dark skins: There's a functional X-Directory on the PWH Classic skin, which has light backgrounded versions. The buttons look a bit messy at the moment, I'll tidy them up another time, but they'll get you into WXtra to see whatever show you missed last night.

The X-Directory works on every skin now, as you may have noticed.

We have new social networking addresses, so feel free to help spread the word by joining/following/friending WX on:

Facebook
Twitter
MySpace

Each of them will help you remain updated on new threads while away from the forums, and of course there's always our RSS feed for all new posts. This can be added to things like iGoogle, My Yahoo, Firefox Live Bookmarks, and many more forms of RSS reader.
