Impact is over and it's time for Raging's Random Thoughts:
* Let's start with the positive. Mr. Anderson did one of his promos again, which was entertaining and the match itself wasn't bad against the British Invasion chap, whose name I can't remember. It was a very nice way of opening the show.
* The Bischoff/Foley/Nash storyline was actually good until the very end. Foley cut an amazing promo against Bischoff and it was punctuated with an appearnace by Jeremy Borash and Abyss in the back. One of the most interesting promos I've heard in a looooong time.
* Hernandez/Morgan vs. Team 3-D was a good big man match even though the ending was predictable with Nasty Boys' interference. Thankfully, the Nasty Boys' camera time was kept minimal and Knobbs still sounds like he's about to pass out just from talking. The respect bit at the end between the tag champs and Team 3-D was good.
* Samoa Joe vs. Jesse Neal (I think that's his name) was almost totally one-sided. Neal looked rather incompetent in one particular spot and Joe demolished him. I guess they're building him up again ever since Joe lost to Desmond Wolfe.
* The Pope versus AJ Styles was also good. Shame there were two commercial breaks during the match. Surprisingly, there was no Flair interference and Pope got the win. Flair came in afterwards and Samoa Joe came in to make the save. The promo Joe cut was good and Flair, for the first time ever, actually entertained me with his reaction since it looked totally realistic. There was a ton of security to break-up the four guys. Remember the security bit for later.
* Angle vs. Tomko was good. Not the greatest match, but good. Largely forgettable. Angle with Hogan was an interesting build-up and I'm actually curious where this will lead.
* The Knockouts match was good. Probably the best I've seen Angelina Love do. An absolute shame that it was also broken up by two commercial breaks. The ending was weird because Love wiggled out of the Widow's Peak and then Tara got her with a simple matchbook pin. It left with a feeling that Love just simply isn't all that strong. TBP then ambush Love in the most obvious way possible, which was surprising, and Tara just stares at them before helping Love. Still the awkward ending was minor compared to what came afterwards.
* The last match between Nash and Foley just simply should not have taken place. It was a no DQ, which turned into a hardcore match and it was the worst match/thing I've seen in quite some time and that includes the WWE Divas and the Orlando Screwjob. You'll just have to see this to believe it. Plus afterwards, Hall and Waltman came in. Now let me backtrack a bit. Earlier, we saw Hall and Waltman sneaking around a corner being wary of security and doing their best ninja stealth impression. Now, at the end of the match, we see Hall and Waltman just blow through the crowd unhindered with no security at all showing up and they beat up Nash. Yes, Nash and finally they hit Foley. At this point, I'm utterly confused and for some reason, the bloomin' camera keeps zooming in on a caricature of Foley and Abyss. It was such a terrible last impression to an otherwise good show. They really should have had Hall and Waltman just sneak attack Nash before the match ever started and have security break them up. At least it would have been a more consistent ending but with an air of suspense about what happened.
Raging's Rating: 7 out of 10. If they stopped after the Diva match, I would have given it an 8 but that ending was...was...wow.

EDIT: The British Invasion chap I couldn't remember was Brutus Magnus.
Also, I forgot that Tara's chest was blurred out for the majority of the match, so I'm assuming she had a wardrobe malfunction. She didn't notice and kept going until she was off television.
