What the hell....
« on: February 02, 2010, 09:37:43 AM »

The last couple days, when I come here to see what's going on and check out new posts, while the forum may say "new post" and the icon is there, they aren't anywhere to be found...fix that.

Since you asked so nicely... Do you mean the tiny box that says "new" to the right of thread titles when you open a folder?

I haven't encountered this problem with the retro skin, which is what the timescale would imply, so can you check for me whether posts in these threads have been recently edited? It's not a new thing but the board will flag those as "new" because the edit might have significantly changed/added new content that you'd otherwise miss.

I generally just look when I get here to see who the post in what ever thread belongs to..a couple have said yours was the "last" or "newest" post ( whichever you wanna call the post)but if I click on the topic, you don't have a new post.. like in one of them, it showed you had posted but when I checked the topic, the last post there was gungrave's...

I always ask this, but is anyone else having the same problem? It just helps to narrow down possible causes.

I'm not but that might be cos I only seek out my own threads to read them and masturbate over how awesome they are until I'm left in a sticky mess.

I haven't noticed this problem on the green skin.  Of further note, I haven't had the "jumping" screen since Heady did the voodoo that he did awhile back.

What I'd suggest for the time being, Scoop, is to switch to one of the other skins (links at the top of the page for PWH Classic and PWH Default) and let me know if the problem persists. That will at least confirm whether the issue's specific to the WX skin, which is what the timeframe hints at.

So Scoop, after nearly a week using a different skin, can you tell me if you're still getting this problem at all?
