Madison Square Garden, New York
A video package plays along with a modified version of “Happy Birthday” featuring some of the best moments in HPW in the past year such as; Brett Anderson defeating Harrison Hughes with the dragon sleeper for the HPW world championship, the shocking return of Jimmy Duxen, and even Rip Thomas delivering a shooting star press from the top of a 20 foot ladder on to several other men. The happy memories quickly evaporate and transform into the violence that has brought HPW to its sixth pay-per-view. Scenes of Illy Mustafa nearly being crippled by Kenny Dior only to come back and assault him during his matches appear, along with Trent Malik destroying Micheal Bloodman with chair shots, and Andrew McWilliam forcing Rip Thomas crashing through a table.
We open live in the Big Apple with 20000 screaming fans being joined by Chad Fairfax and Doug Solomon. The two talk about how far Headline Pro Wrestling has come since its revival, coming from a small regional wrestling promotion to a massive global phenomenon enjoyed by millions all over the world. They mention that tonight we have several past versus present matches with the exciting Rip Thomas going one on one with Andrew McWilliam who has spilled blood all across the country, and Illy Mustafa facing the man who he feels has stolen his spot (Kenny Dior). They also include the fact that Harrison Hughes is forcing Jimmy Duxen to team with his 66 year old father who Jimmy never accepted as a wrestler. Tonight he will be forced to accept it because there is only so much he can do to protect Old Man Duxen when he is in the ring with both Hughes and the monster Morlo.
“Well ladies and gentleman, this history making night is going to kick off with a bang as Trent Malik faces Micheal Bloodman in a rematch. These two have crossed paths several times in the past few weeks but neither one has been able to get the clear upper-hand to break through that glass ceiling and become the world champion. Tonight there must be a winner as they face each other in a Falls Count Anywhere match!”
Trent Malik vs. Micheal Bloodman
The two men make their entrances and begin brawling right away before the referee can signal for the match to begin. Bloodman uses his brute strength early on to throw Malik across the ring like a sack of potatoes but when he tries to capitalize on the situation Malik drops to the floor whilst pulling the top rope towards him causing Bloodman to go flying to the outside with a hard thump.
Malik bounces off the ropes. He springboards off the top.
“OHHHH!”
“Big time high crossbody by Trent!” Chad screams in amazement.
Malik goes for the cover but only gets a two count. They continue to brawl around the ringside area until Bloodman stops Malik with a knee to the midsection. The Legend grabs Malik with a military press and throws him over the heads of several people. Malik lands hard on some evacuated steel chairs, causing them to slide in different directions. Bloodman climbs over the guard rail and snatches a chair from a 9 year old girl, causing her to fall over. He throws the chair with as much force as he can causing it to get caught around the neck of Malik. They continue to fight it out in the crowd until Malik launches himself off one of the chairs and hits Bloodman with a big leg lariat causing both men to crash back over the railing.
Malik grabs a steel chair from ringside and tries to exterminate Bloodman with a heavy shot but Bloodman gets out of the way. The chair slams against the rigid ring post causing pain to Malik’s hands through the vibrations. Bloodman knocks Malik down with a big clothesline and then simply steps on his throat. He scoops Malik up and throws him over the second rope before following him in.
They fight for several more minutes with the momentum switching several times. Both men gain near falls but are unable to gain the victory. They try to put the punctuation mark on the damage they have done already by trying to deliver their finishing move but each time the other is able to find a reversal.
Suddenly from out of nowhere both men are knocked down with a massive double clothesline.
“WHAT!?”
“THAT’S MORLO! WHAT IS HE DOING OUT HERE!? THIS ISN’T HIS MATCH!”
Morlo takes Bloodman down with a massive gore. Bloodman grabs his ribcage in one of the very few times we have seen him in agony. Malik tries to catch Morlo off guard but gets caught with a big size 16 boot to the face. Morlo follows up by punting Malik so hard in the skull that he goes flying out of the ring. The referee waves the match off and gets thrown away like a piece of trash when he tries to stop Morlo from doing any more damage. Bloodman makes his way back to his feet but gets caught with the claw. Morlo squeezes and squeezes until Bloodman drops to his knees. He tries to fight Morlo off but as strong as Bloodman is he still cannot stop Morlo. Bloodman goes out like a light as Morlo continues to tighten his grip until finally he lets go. Morlo lets out a primal scream of rage before trotting to the back.
“Do you think Jimmy Duxen saw that?”
“I don’t know Doug.”
“Morlo just destroyed the two men that people believe to be the next challengers for the HPW world championship at the same time. If he is watching you have to wonder what is going through his head knowing that his 66 year old father has to be in the ring with that animal later on.”
Winner: No contest due to outside interference, 13:24.
A camera cuts backstage where Rip Thomas and Matt Gregor are fighting. Thomas hip tosses Gregor on to some heavy cases containing some technical equipment. Gregor tries to get himself off but Thomas nails with the Thundercat Kick sending him flying off. Thomas forces Gregor to his feet and sends him head first into the door; luckily the door is open softening the blow for Gregor. Thomas shuts the door with Gregor in the room and then slides the lock across, locking Matt Gregor in the room with nowhere to go.
Andrew McWilliam vs. Rip Thomas
The two make their entrances and stare each other down with cold glares. Chad brings up the point that tonight Andrew McWilliam is all on his own and does not have Matt Gregor backing him up. Doug agrees mentioning that it was an excellent piece of strategy to eliminate Gregor before the match so that they cannot use the numbers game against him. The ref calls for the bell and the match begins.
Thomas is the aggressor but as he approaches McWilliam, McWilliam backs away and slides to the floor. Thomas chases him down but cannot quite get a hold of Andrew. The Last Hope slides into the ring and waits for Thomas to slide in, he drops a big elbow but as it turns out Thomas feinted. McWilliam clutches his elbow in pain as Thomas slides in and begins to stomp away on McWilliam. McWilliam tries to get away but instead gets backed up into the corner with several martial art style roundhouse kicks. Each strike Thomas uses are sent with bad intentions. He nails McWilliam in the knee, the midsection, and even his arms when he tries to block them. Chants for Thomas erupt throughout the sold out arena as Thomas steps on to the second rope and kicks McWilliam right in the face.
“YEAHHHH!”
Thomas gets caught up in the moment and plays off to the fans but when he turns his attention back to McWilliam; McWilliam grabs him by the tights and pulls him towards the corner, causing his head to bounce off of the second turnbuckle. McWilliam sends Thomas to the centre of the ring with a snap suplex and follows through with a chinlock to ground the spectacular high flyer.
Thomas tries to feed off of the crowd support to get out of the hold as Doug explains that this is Thomas’ final match with HPW and that he only returned with the goal of eliminating Andrew McWilliam from HPW forever. Thomas is able to get to his feet but as he tries to get out of the hold completely McWilliam uses his hair to slam his head against the canvas. Thomas’ head connects with the mat with a loud thud before McWilliam follows up with a leg drop. He continues to work on the neck of the grounded Thundercat to soften him up for The Last Sin.
Thomas gets back to his feet and surprises McWilliam with a few shots but once again he gets cut off, this time by McWilliam driving Thomas’ neck against his knee. He goes for the cover but the heart of Rip Thomas is too much and he kicks out.
McWilliam signals to the crowd that this is the end, their precious Rip Thomas. He stalks Thomas preparing to deliver the final blow but instead of Thomas stumbling to his feet he nips up and delivers a Thundercat Kick to the side of McWilliam’s head. Thomas bounces McWilliam against the ropes and as he ricochets back he catches him with a big frankensteiner, dropping him on his neck. Thomas climbs to the top turnbuckle to nail McWilliam with the Thundercat Press but he spends too much time playing to the crowd allowing McWilliam time to recover.
McWilliam runs up the second rope and begins to fire away with right hands. Thomas stumbles for a moment but his cat like agility allows him to keep his balance as he lands a big elbow to McWilliam’s jaw. Thomas hooks McWilliam’s arms and delivers the Thundercat Effect from the top rope.
“OHHHH!”
ONNNNNNNEE
TWWWWWOO
THREEEEEEEE!
“YEAAAAAAAAAH!”
Winner: Rip Thomas via pinfall, 15:54.
Doug announces Rip Thomas as the winner to a loud applause from the crowd. Thomas celebrates his victory in the ring and then makes his way up the ramp slapping hands with his fans in the front row who have came to watch his final match.
McWilliam recovers in the ring looking completely humiliated at losing to Rip Thomas live on pay-per-view. As he leaves the ring the fans begin to sing for his departure.
“NAH NAH NAH NAH! NAH NAH NAH NAH! HEY HEY HEY! GOODBYE!”
John Slider vs. Julian Bosley
After both men make their entrances the referee makes it clear that they must follow the rules otherwise they will be disqualified. Slider is wearing a cast from his altercation at the prison earlier this week so makes sure he keeps enough distance away from Bosley so that he cannot get any revenge before the bell rings. As the bell rings Slider immediately dropkicks the knee of Bosley causing him to fall. He tries to work away at the knee but Bosley grabs him by the throat. Bosley uses his size to lift Slider up in the air and then throws him into the corner. He tries to unleash a fury of punches but Slider quickly sees it coming and escapes.
They meet in the centre of the ring once again and this time Slider goes for an ankle pick to try take the big man down but Bosley easily clubs him down. He grabs Slider by the head and bodyslams him to the mat. Bosley bounces off the ropes and drops a big elbow down into the chest of Slider knocking all the wind out of him. Instead of going for the cover Bosley lifts Slider off of the mat and sends him hard into the corner. The impact of the irish whip is so hard that Slider comes flying back allowing Bosley to fold him in half with a clothesline.
Bosley goes for a cover but after the one count he lifts Slider’s head off the mat and shakes his head, wanting to deliver more punishment to the man that framed him.
“YEAHHHHH!”
Bosley lifts Slider up on to his shoulder and goes for a big running powerslam but Slider slips out and pushes him into the corner. Bosley’s chest hits hard on the turnbuckle and Slider immediately goes for a waistlock and is some how able to deliver a german suplex even with his broken arm. Slider tries to hold on but Bosley is too heavy so instead he decides to jump on his back to wear the big man down. Slider keeps Bosley grounded making sure he has little time to catch his breath and then begins to work on the left leg. He begins to stomp away at first and then drops a big knee. Bosley waves his hands in the air wildly swinging for the fences but Slider is savvy enough to make sure he controls the distance. Slider is able to drag Bosley to the edge of the ring and then slides out himself. He begins to lift and drop the back of Bosley’s knee hard on to the apron.
Once he is satisfied with the damage he has done to Bosley’s knee, Slider locks in one of his trademark manoeuvres; the single leg boston crab. Slider shows that he is an expert in locking in this move by wrenching all the way back so that he causes as much damage as possible. Slider yells for the referee to ask if Julian quits but The Xcon refuses to. Slider tries to keep the hold in but Julian’s leg slips free and Slider grabs his injured arm. He seems to be in excruciating pain which allows Julian to recover. Slider tries to shake it off but even after he successfully russian leg sweeps Julian into the corner it is still bothering him. Slider forces Bosley to the centre of the ring and tries to lock in a figure four but Julian reverses, sending Slider arm first into the ring post.
Julian seems to have a second wind as he forces Slider into his grasp and delivers a full nelson slam. He roars to get the crowd pump for his ultimate vengeance. He forces Slider to his feet and irish whips him. Julian goes for the Playas Boot but Slider ducks. Slider has a waistlock but Julian counters with an elbow to the face. Julian snatches Slider by the throat. BAM! Big chokeslam by The Xcon.
“ONNNNNNNNNNE
TWWWWOOOOOO
THREEEEEEEEE-!”
The crowd is upset by the referee’s call that it was only a two count and begin to boo George Redwood. Bosley is equally frustrated but soon regains his composure. Bosley sets Slider up for a powerbomb but Slider holds on tight to his leg so that he can’t deliver it. Bosley clubs him over and over until Slider releases him. Julian lifts him high but as he does Slider grabs the referee with his good arm out of desperation. Whilst the referee is out of position Slider takes the opportunity to nail Bosley in the head with the cast.
“BOOOOOOOO!”
Bosley drops right away but to hide any suspicion Slider helps him up to his feet enough to deliver the KTFO.
“HE JUST GOT KNOCKED THE F—OUT!”
“ONNNNNNNNNE
TWWWWOOOOOO
THREEEEEEEEEEE!”
“BOOOOOO!”
Winner: John Slider by pinfall, 17:43.
Slider quickly jumps out of the ring and damn near runs up the ramp to escape the wrath of the no doubt angry Julian Bosley. The crowd chants bullshit at Slider as he scurries to the back. A disappointed Bosley gets a nice ovation after he recovers as he makes his way up the ramp clearly disappointed that Slider was able to get him again.
Illy Mustafa vs. Kenny Dior
The two men make their entrances with Illy sending Otis to the back whilst on the ramp, apparently changing his mind about his protégé accompanying him to the ring. Dior proudly comes out as the world champion with a mixed reaction for both men. Dior seems to be the slight favourite in the audience but the die hard Mustafa fans still remember what Kenny did to him that ignited this rivalry in the first place. The referee holds the belt high in the air and Illy tells him that he can put that outside because that’s not the most important thing on the line in this match. Chad notes that Mustafa has promised that he will end Dior here tonight for forcing Illy to come to terms with his own retirement a few months ago. Dior extends his hand to Illy who responds by turning his back and walking away.
Surprisingly the match starts off with a collar-elbow tie up with Dior getting the advantage with a wrist lock. Illy easily manoeuvres himself out of the hold and grabs a headlock on Dior. Dior tries to escape but Illy takes him down and then transitions himself into a front face lock. Dior tries to escape but Illy spins in the same direction as him and keeps the hold locked in. It seems that Illy wants to prove that he is the better wrestler than Dior in the early going to get inside of his head. Suddenly Dior escapes the hold and grabs a headlock on Mustafa. Illy tries to get out but Dior continues to reposition himself much like Illy did to keep the hold in. Mustafa tries multiple different reversals but cannot free himself. Illy has no choice but to move his body towards the ropes and force a rope break.
“Illy looks frustrated that Dior bested him on the mat Chad.”
They lock up again but this time Illy gets the advantage first. They continue to exchange holds until Illy locks in a crossface chicken wing that causes Dior to reach the ropes to avoid any unnecessary damage. They are about to lock up again when Mustafa drops down for a drop toe hold. He rolls over Dior’s back to gain a good position but Dior gets out of the way and nails a dropkick. Dior quickly follows up and goes for a cover but Illy kicks out almost right away.
Instead of locking up this time Illy nails a hard shot to Dior’s jaw causing him to stumble back. Illy grabs Dior by the head and uses the ropes to choke him. He drags Dior’s face along the ropes as Dior yells out in pain from the rope burn. Illy nails a big headbutt to Dior and then follows up with an elbow to the back of the neck. Illy grabs Dior and suplexes him hard to the centre of the ring. Illy jumps to the second rope and tries to score with a forearm smash to the face but Dior gets the boot up that causes Illy to go flying back into the corner. Dior runs at Illy but stops inches away from a boot to the face. He grabs Illy’s foot and uses it to force him to the middle of the ring. Dior sweeps the other leg from underneath Mustafa and locks in the texas cloverleaf. Illy yells out but it is still early enough in the match for him to escape.
The match continues with both men trying to out do each other until Dior makes a mistake by going to the top rope. Illy knocks his legs from underneath him causing Dior to be crotched on the top turnbuckle. Illy grabs Dior and delivers a hangman’s neckbreaker from that position.
“OHHHHH!”
Instead of going for the cover Illy turns up the aggression and releases his fury on Dior. He is relentless on the attack on Dior’s neck, so much so that the referee has to get between them at certain points. He drags Dior to the edge of the ring much like Slider did in his match, except this time Illy does it in the corner. He forces Dior’s head and neck up against the ring post then delivers a big dropkick.
“OHHHHHH!”
“He could be concussed with that one!”
Whilst on the outside of the ring Illy tosses in a steel chair to causes ultimate damage but luckily for Kenny the referee stops him and tosses it back outside. Illy drops a big knee across the back of the neck of Dior and then lifts his head with his hands in a combination between a camel clutch and a choke. The referee doesn’t realize at first that Dior is being choked allowing Illy a few more seconds to cause damage.
Illy goes for the blink effect but Dior pushes him off into the ropes. Dior ducks to try and backdrop Mustafa but because of the dropkick his timing is off allowing Illy to grab him and deliver a cradle piledriver.
“ONNNNNNNE
TWWWWWOO
THREEEEEEEEE-!”
“YEAHHHHHBOOOOOOYEAHHHHHH!”
Illy locks in the triangle choke causing half the arena to cheer loudly. He is unable to lock in the hold properly so instead of throwing elbows he continues to try and readjust the hold so that he can properly execute the final sequence. Dior counters the hold by rolling forward and forcing a pin.
“ONNNNNNE
TWOOOOOOO
THREEEEEEE-!”
Illy is angered that Dior has the balls to try and pin him like that and simply kicks him in the face. He sets Dior up and delivers a big buckle bomb that has so much impact that Dior bounces forward, landing on his knees. Illy follows up by delivering a big superkick to the jaw.
“YEAAAAAHBOOOOOOOYEAHHHHHH!”
“ONNNNNNNNNNNE
TWWWWWOOOOOO
THREEEEEEEEEEE-!”
Illy looks even more pissed off that Dior got the shoulder up now and forces him to the corner. Illy tries to lift Dior up but Dior fights back. Dior nails Illy with various right and lefts that forces him into the corner himself and then delivers a big enziguri. Illy is stunned allowing Dior to lift him up in a fireman’s carry and deliver the double knee gutbuster.
Dior uses the sudden momentum change to nail a quick snap version of the KDT.
“OHHHH!”
“ONNNNNNNE
TWOOOOOO
THREEEEEEE-!”
Dior seems annoyed that Illy was able to kick out of his finishing move but is so exhausted from the damage done that he quickly gets over it. Dior tries to lock in the texas cloverleaf once again but Illy kicks him off. Illy gets to his feet and goes for the blink effect but once again it is reversed. Dior tries to catch Mustafa with another enziguri but Illy steps away and tries to roll Dior up. Instead Dior rolls as well trapping both of Illy’s legs with his arms and keeping his weight on his right side so that it is on Illy’s head and shoulders.
“ONNNNNNNNE
TWWWWWOOO
THREEEEEEE!”
“HE GOT IT! DIOR WINS! AND LOOK AT ILLY’S FACE!”
“HE CAN’T BELIEVE IT! KENNY DIOR HAS BEATEN ILLY MUSTAFA!”
Winner: Kenny Dior by pinfall, 23:43.
Although Kenny just won the match and retained his title he has little time to celebrate as Mustafa quickly assaults him in anger. Illy’s obsession gets the better of him as George Redwood tries to stop him causing Illy to knock him out, no doubt meaning he will be fined later on tonight. Illy locks in the final sequence on Dior and begins to rapidly throw elbows over and over and over until Dior’s head is opened wide open. Illy continues to beat the hell out of Dior until several members of staff enter the ring and physically forces him to remove the hold. Illy spits on the unconscious body of Dior and bitterly raises his hands in the air apparently thinking that he is the one that really won this match.
Illy bitterly makes his way up the ramp as a bloody Kenny Dior slowly awakens and forces himself up to his feet. The members of staff try to help Dior up but he refuses their help. The referee hands him his championship belt and he holds it high in the air to let it be known that he is still the man to beat. Dior stumbles out of the ring still dazed from Mustafa’s assault and makes his way up the ramp through the cur-
“NO! ILLY WAS HIDING AND WAITING ON HIM!”
Illy grabs the championship belt and nails Dior in the skull with it. Before the members of staff can reach Dior and help him Illy quickly sets Dior up and delivers the cradle piledriver on the steel ramp.
“HOW DOES THAT FEEL KENNY YOU SON OF A BITCH!?”
Illy holds his hands up innocently at the members of staff to let them know that he doesn’t want anymore trouble and that he is done here tonight. Dior is completely out cold as the people around him panic asking for a stretcher and a neckbrace. Dior is stretchered off as chants of Kenny erupt from the crowd.
The Duxens vs. Hughes & Morlo
The four men make their entrances with Jimmy giving strict instructions to his 66 year old father to stay in the corner whilst he handles the match. The feisty old man however has other plans and the referee is forced to hold him back to prevent him from getting his hands on Harrison Hughes. Morlo savagely paces around the ring waiting to get his hands on his next victim but Hughes seems to have some kind of control over the monster. The referee successfully gets the men to their corners and it will be Jimmy Duxen and Morlo that starts the match.
Right away Morlo hammers away on Jimmy. The punches that Morlo throws are hideous but effective. Jimmy tries to fight back with shots to the midsection but the monster is simply too dominating. Old Man Duxen eagerly shouts for his son to tag him in so that he can fight the monster but Jimmy either does not hear him or chooses to ignore his request to protect him. Jimmy ducks under a clothesline from Morlo and knocks Hughes off of the apron but when he turns around he gets squashed with a big avalanche in the corner. Morlo lets Jimmy fall to the mat and then lifts him back up by the hair.
Morlo locks in a bearhug on the former chairman and begins to squeeze the life out of him with no mercy. Jimmy tries to keep the oxygen pumping through his body but the monster’s clinch is too tight and too strong. Morlo squeezes so hard that Jimmy’s eyeballs look like they are about to explode at any minute.
“JIMMY! JIMMY! JIMMY!”
The fans try to get behind Duxen but as he is about to box the ears of Morlo, Morlo begins to shake Jimmy left and right, causing his ribcage to crush together even more. Duxen can feel his bones dig into his organs as the monster continues to squeeze the life out of him and just before Jimmy goes out OMD rungs into the ring and nails Morlo with a double axe handle. Although the damage is minimal it does distract the monster enough to break the hold. Jimmy collapses in a heap as Morlo turns his attention to Jimmy’s father. He tries to get at the elderly man but the referee stops him.
Morlo forces Jimmy up to his feet once more but before he can do any more damage Hughes commands that he be tagged in now that Jimmy is hurt badly. Morlo obliges and holds Duxen in a bearhug whilst the chairman climbs to the top rope. Hughes drops a big double sledge to the back of Jimmy as Morlo releases his grasp. The monster goes out on to the apron as Hughes takes over.
Hughes lifts Jimmy up and delivers rapid backbreakers to his enemy. He goes for the cover but Jimmy refuses to let Hughes have the pleasure of defeating him again and rolls his shoulder up. Hughes continues to beat on Jimmy for several minutes until Duxen is able to act defensively and lock in a guillotine choke. Jimmy is able to lock in the hold for enough time for Hughes to weaken instantly before he is able to escape. Jimmy looks to his corner like he wants to make a tag but decides that it’s not a good idea. He does not want his father in danger no matter how much punishment he has to take.
As he turns around Hughes blindsides him with a european uppercut that sends him back into his corner. OMD makes the blind tag and shocks Hughes with several hard right hands. On the third shot Hughes goes down. He gets back up but OMD knocks him right back down.
“YEAAAAAAAH!”
OMD sends Hughes to the ropes and nails a big knife edge chop that sends him hard to the mat. OMD runs over to Morlo and pops him in the mouth. Unfortunately it has no effect and just angers the monster. Before Morlo can get back into the ring and assault Jimmy’s father, Jimmy runs back into the ring and tackles Morlo off the apron.
“YEAHHHH! DUXEN! DUXEN! DUXEN!”
The two Duxen’s work together as Jimmy beats on the monster on the outside and OMD beats on Hughes on the inside. The referee is distracted with the action on the outside which allows OMD to use dirty tricks from the old book of wrestling such as poking Hughes in the eyes and giving him a quick kick in the nards. OMD climbs to the top rope for what could be his last moment of glory and falls through the air with the Duxen Elbow…but Hughes gets out of the way. The elderly man crashes to the canvas hard and seems out cold on impact.
Hughes has a big smile on his face as Jimmy struggles with Morlo on the outside of the ring. Morlo is clubbing him hard on the back forcing Jimmy to push forward and send Morlo back first into the steel steps. Morlo shoves Jimmy off as Hughes stomps away at Jimmy’s father. Morlo goes for a clothesline but Jimmy ducks and moves forward so he is near the ring steps. Hughes forces OMD to his feet. Morlo charges at Jimmy again but Jimmy takes out his knee causing Morlo to crash head first into the steps. For the first time since returning to HPW Morlo seems out cold. Hughes is just moments away from putting OMD away with the H-Bomb when Jimmy realizes what is happening and stops it. He pulls his father off of Hughes shoulders and begins to fire away on Hughes.
OMD however lands on his feet and pushes his son away. The crowd erupts in joy as OMD shocks the world by delivering the original Duxen Cutter on Harrison Hughes. OMD slowly goes for the cover as Morlo tries to get into the ring but is stopped by a baseball slide from Jimmy.
“ONNNNNNNNE
TWWWWWWOOO
THREEEEEEEEE!”
“OH MY GOD! OLD MAN DUXEN HAS PINNED THE CHAIRMAN!”
“HAHA I CANNOT BELIEVE WHAT WE ARE SEEING!”
“YEAAAAAAAAH!”
The crowd erupts as the music of Jimmy Duxen hits as the two men have their arms raised in victory. The referee slides out from the ring to try and control Morlo who is throwing the steps around the ringside area. Morlo is clearly angry at the result but instead of taking it out on the Duxen’s he chases the referee all the way to the back, apparently more angry with George Redwood than anything else. The look in Jimmy’s eyes is much different to the look he had at the beginning of the match when he looked at his father. Jimmy nods his head with a big smile and hugs his father as pyro begins to go off around the arena. Confetti falls from the sky as little Jimmy Duxen Jr. finally embraces his father’s career choice and accepts that he is a wrestler in his heart.
Hughes begins to recover and stumble to his feet as the Duxen’s stop celebrating for a moment. They allow Hughes to reach his feet and then Jimmy clotheslines Hughes out of the ring with his father. The crowd erupts once again as chants of “Duxen!” flow through the arena as HPW ends its 6th pay-per-view.
Winners: Jimmy Duxen & Old Man Duxen by pinfall, 15:55.
