We will now be automatically "tweeting" new threads posted on the forums, so if you're a Twitter user then it's easier than ever to keep up to date with PWH by following our profile.

This only applies to new threads however, not replies. For those you'll still need to check the board, or use the RSS feed.

Edit: Incidentally, our Twitter account has its own RSS feed (here).

I can't say I've got a Twitter account, but I've been hearing a lot about it recently.. thing is, from what I gather, Facebook Status' updates are pretty much the same as Twitter? and I'ma  regular user of Facebook as it is, so I don't see much point in joining up. But if I ever do, I'll add PWH.

I think the advantage of Twitter over Facebook status updates is that it's a more persistent "microblog" - each update is stored in a list, instead of being replaced or lost in amongst other assorted crap. I think it's also more independently accessible, as Twitter feeds can be read or updated in a vast number of ways (though I'm not strictly aware of how Facebook status updates compare as time goes on).

Edit: You can actually update your Facebook status using Twitter, with this, saving time for any user of both.

In fact, I've used the above technique to replicate our Twitter feed on Facebook. Add us there and, I believe, you'll receive the same new thread notifications in your Facebook news feed. You might also be helping to spread the word about PWH to other Facebook users.
