I thought the character development was excellent - you really felt the Tinman's plight for a brain. I though the Lion was a little one dimensional, but that's beside the point, because the focused narrative of the journey down that brick road really gripped you and didn't let go.

I'm glad it turned to colour after the first few minutes. At first I was like "ugh, it's 2009, why is it black and white".

Shut up Harrison.

First episode was good and made me want to watch the rest.  One of those shows where it got me hooked on the characters right away like The Wire.

So I watched the first two episodes then ended up finishing the rest of season one.  I liked it a lot and have season two ready.

I watched the first three episodes last night and I'm really getting into it.. I'm not going to be able to pace myself either  I'm just getting used to the characters now, learning names and what not.. developing favourites etc. It's the kind of show where you feel dirty for rooting for anyone 'cos when you think about it, they're all bad guys.

A good listener tries to understand what the other person is saying. In the end he may disagree sharply, but because he disagrees, he wants to know exactly what it is he is disagreeing with.

Good to hear you're liking it Jackal! Discussion is pretty much out of the question now, for the most part.  Just keep posting what you guys think, I guess. I'm going to post some of my thoughts on season 1 and 2 soon.

I finished Season One off last night and loved every minute of it.. however Season Two might take a little longer to get through as the version I acquired isn't in the right codec to play through my XBox360.. so I'm having to watch it through my PC. I hate watching things through my PC. On the upside, I am acquiring another version which will hopefully work on my console =] I shall post a lengthy addition to this thread once Season Two is over and done with.

So I finished it last night.  First seasons definitely the best but I enjoyed all of it.  Ryan, Keller and Vern probably my favourite characters.  Ryan is cool as hell, Keller is just messed up, and Vern is an epic heel.

I've just reached Season four now, I forgot to post an update after Season two.. so I may as well just wait until the end now, only three seasons left to sit through.
