  • That movie got on my nerves. Why were we supposed to care about her character? She was a total cunt.

  • X-Men: First Class. The movie was actually great I thought, the story was good I thought and the main characters were fleshed out very nicely. Looking forward to the sequels.

You could be waiting a while, Second Class usually takes longer to arrive.

The Inbetweeners Movie, I thought it was pretty hilarious but I've seen comments complaining that it wasn't realistic and was too laddish but with it being a film instead of tv series it was always going to be like that, in the tv series they'd never end up with girlfriends at the end, especially not hot ones.  I laughed at the sunburned penis way more than I should have.

I actually just watched it yesterday for the first time too and I'm a huge fan of the series.. I didn't really think it was amazing, it was okay.. not as good as the series though. And a testament to that is the fact that I laughed more at the very end, when Mr.Gilbert went past on the quad bike than I did at anything else in the whole movie.

A good listener tries to understand what the other person is saying. In the end he may disagree sharply, but because he disagrees, he wants to know exactly what it is he is disagreeing with.

  • It was one of the best films I've seen this year. Really funny, and feel good. The awkward teenagers came good in the end, got the girl etc. It was just a nice end to the whole series.

And had some of the funniest moments I've ever seen in a film. The four of them dancing over to the girls still makes me laugh when I see the trailer on TV. And its shown a lot.

    Melancholia

Started out kind of slow, and the whole film really was quite slow paced. It all happens in one place and pretty much around one day. Very Lars von Trier, the first half of the movie revolved around a big family social gathering, a wedding. And then the second half took place over five days, as another planet, Melancholia, makes its way towards Earth.

I love end of the world movies, like Armageddon and Independence Day - the survival genre. And this film looked at it in quite a different way. I've always had an idea of a script that focuses around just one family and how they deal with impending doom - like Signs - but this kind of seemed more...human? Maybe. It was about the people, protecting and looking out for each other, rather than themselves.

    Would recommend it.

  • I was disappointed with the Inbetweeners Movie.

I felt like the show was so good, and the movie just did not live up to my expectations. It was good, and I laughed, but I was hoping for so much more...

Sounds like a YOU problem then. Stop expecting so much in life.

The Artist, I'm going to have to watch it again at some point because H-Man is a douchebag who for some reason is going out of his way to ruin films for me.  It was the best film I've seen in ages though, there's not many recent ones I want to watch again but I do this one.
