i pick rock cause anyone can rap, its like picking your nose, you dont need a talent to rap, in rock you have to play instruments to be a rockstar

There are good and bad examples of both, but I prefer far more rock songs than rap. I don't know if it's because rap fans have no taste so the shit rises to the top more easily, or if it's just easier to aim a rock song at my mainstream tastes, but it's frustrating to like some of a genre and only hear a decent track every once in a while.

The one and only good genre of music is Classic Rock.

I hate it when people write off whole genres.

It's like saying you hate poetry, even though poetry includes shit done by preschoolers up to something like Shakespeare.

I'm torn I can't make a decision like that. I love some Rock and I love some Rap. I've gone to concerts for both. My tastes vary, I enjoy stuff by Eminem and in the same breath I'm a huge Incubus fan. They couldn't be more different. I think I try to find something that resonates within me when I hear a song. Whatever genre that may be.
