I have been a member her for a long time and before that WrestleXpress, Wrestlingmania etc...But, while looking at the main forum it really stood out that wrestling has been relegated to on spot one this forum. PWH still stands for Pro Wrestling Headlines right? But, the board if far from a wrestling board anymore. Not saying it's good or bad, just saying... My question is, is this still considered a wrestling forum? If not, what is it? What should it be? I know this was done some time ago when activity was at it's lowest, but I wonder what the future direction of the board is?

I agree. I know this host won't allow it, but we should get one that does.

Neil posted that other thread, and I'll post my reply in here - this host is unstable, and at least 3 times a day I get an error message from it. We need a new host.

A new host that allows porn.

When the decision was taken last August to combine the General Wrestling, Raw, SmackDown, ECW and TNA folders into one Pro Wrestling folder, I think it was met with universal approval, including yourself Purps (link). While I can see how it might look as if wrestling's been relegated or condensed somehow, the change was simply to allow easier access and more open discussion about wrestling, whatever the promotion or brand.

If you feel like wrestling has been de-emphasized by the design or structure of the site, then how would you suggest emphasizing it more? Already we have an e-fed, an organized calendar of wrestling show threads, an ad-free wrestling newsboard on the homepage, and wrestling imagery at the top of each page. Any more ideas to increase the board's wrestling quotient are very welcome.

I am not making a statement against the forum. I just wonder if it is a wrestling based forum anymore. It seems to me to be more of a general chat kind of place as opposed to one that focuses on wrestling ( or any other subject for that matter). I posted this here instead of NHB to get serious thoughts on the subject of the direction of this place, and look what happened. Every area seems to have turned into random thought threads. (That's your cue to post your random thought guys).

With the name of this place being Pro Wrestling Headline Forums, I just wonder if it's time to change that.

When we had the multiple wrestling forums most of them weren't posted in, and the forum isn't really that much more active right now so.

Think it's just people don't care about wrestling as much anymore.

Also if we aren't allowed a porn forum then I want a forum dedicated to Miley Cyrus instead.
