Christian Cage opens the show with an in-ring promo. He said that everyone wants him to pick side but he doesn't need too right now and maybe he doesn't want too. Christian wants AJ to come out to clear up their issues but Booker T comes out instead and tries to persuade AJ to take his side. AJ comes out and talks down to Booker. The segment results in Jim Cornette coming out and making AJ Styles vs. Booker T with Christian Cage as the special guest referee for later tonight.

Cute Kip b. Rhino in a no-disqualification match. The finish saw Rhino put Kip through a table with Gore, however, he was blinded by Velvet Sky and Angelina afterward which prompted Knockouts to come out for the save.

Consequences Creed b. Jay Lethal, Petey Williams, & Sonjay Dutt to earn an X Division Championship shot at Bound For Glory.

Matt Morgan & Abyss b. TNA Tag Team Champions Beer Money, Inc. in a non-title match. Team 3D were on commentary for the bout.

An in-ring segment with Mick Foley was taped. After thanking the fans, putting over TNA, and saying that he was going to be a fair special enforcer at Bound For Glory, he introduced Jeff Jarrett and Kurt Angle to ringside. Jarrett says TNA made a mistake in hiring Angle and ends up giving him his Gold Medal back. Angle tells Jarrett to tell his daughters that daddy won't be coming home after Bound For Glory.

Awesome Kong & Raisha Saeed b. TNA Knockout Women's Champion Taylor Wilde & Roxxi

AJ Styles b. Booker T. Christian Cage, who worked as the special guest referee for the match, ended up beating up both and Jim Cornette announced a triple-threat match at Bound For Glory between them.

The final segment is the official contract signing for TNA Champion Samoa Joe vs. Sting at Bound For Glory. Jim Cornette comes to the ring for the segment. Joe and Sting exchange words with Joe mentioning Kevin Nash teaching him to be professional. The two ended up brawling only for security to come out and break them up.

Not to bad of show.

Sucks Rhino lost but it happens.

3 Way was good. I had a feeling Creed was going to win. Dutt look like he's been working out alittle to much, not trying to sound gay or anything. :shake:

I've been enjoying the Morgan/Abyss team since they became one. Morgan I've been a fan of since his OVW days. Abyss took some time to grow on me. Now they may never be a Brothers Of Destruction but they are working pretty good so far.

Foley/Angle/Jarrett segment seems to be taking things a bit to far, even if it's written. Some of the things that have been said leading up to the match has been leaving a bad taste and I know you're suppose to add a shock value in some storylines but even what they've been doing with it, is kinda taking it overboard.

Womens' match was good as they usually are. I'ma been pulling for Roxxi this sunday.

Styles/Booker with Cage as ref seems to leading up to what possibly could be a heel turn for Cage. He usually starts roaming towards that way around this time....though I've been wrong before.

Joe/Sting signing has had a steady build up and should be a good match.

The promo at the start said the TNA Originals...I had to laugh.

I think the pairing of TBP and Kip is so stupid. He was the main guy that was against women wrestling. It's ridiculous that he is a stooge for them now. Plus he is boring.

Rhino is a good midcard guy if he is a heel. As a face, he seems to get easily lost in the crowd.

Was Mongo wearing a wig?

Beer Money = Show highlight.

I hate Matt Morgan. He and Abyss are not interesting to me. It may be that I don't like most "big" guys, but I just can't get into them.

Bubba makes a good point. Why does Monsters Ball need an enforcer?

LAX is better without Hector.

I hate how TNA is turning the JJ vs Kurt match into the biggest match. The Sting vs Joe match should be getting the most hype.

Taylor Wilde is so boring. I hope Roxxi wins the belt.

Now having basically said all the negative stuff about the show , I'll go with the good. Week in and out, I think Impact showcases better wrestling than WWE. That's why I love their ppv's so much. Their in ring action is great. The women wrestle, the matches are exciting to watch and, unless there is a dumb gimmick like and electrified cage, there usually isn't a bad match on their card. This card is shaping up nicely. I may not like some of the people or the way the show was booked, but the match quality of the card looks great. I suspect it will be an awesome ppv. If they keep the cheap endings to a minimum.

A really good go-home episode before Bound For Glory. It's a shame the Styles/Booker/Cage three-way wasn't announced sooner though, only becoming an official part of the card 10 minutes before the end of Impact, three days before the PPV. The storyline may have been building for weeks, but TNA didn't leave itself much time to capitalize on it by way of hype for Sunday's event.

Bacne FTL.

I'm not sure what things, plural, you're talking about. Kurt's line about not being the only one who's lost a wife might have been in poor taste, but I haven't heard anything else that's come close. The kind of references made to Jeff's children have been standard wrestling fodder for years.

Good point, that hadn't occurred to me. Maybe it's different when he's got the hots for them...?

Indeed. I'm all for a guest referee, but Mongo's talking about keeping these guys in line and ensuring the rules are adhered to. What rules are those?

I see it as a double main event, and I think that's fine. In the context of TNA and its history, Angle vs Jarrett for the first time ever is a huge match, and could easily be the sole headline attraction of a PPV like this. That Samoa Joe vs Sting for the title is on the same night, in the official main event spot, and having its position questioned like that illustrates what a stacked card this is.

What's Bacne FTL?

About the Foley/Angle/Jarret segment - Well mostly just how it's been built up. The references that are being made. Come to think of it, WWE does similar tasteless angles like the so I guess it shouldn't come as a surprise but I would think they could've left his wife out of. The kids and even how he is "washed up" was a good build up. That's pretty much what I was referring to.

Bacne is acne that is on somebody's back, and FTL is an acronym meaning "for the loss."
