Who is ALICE?

"ALICE" stands for "Artificial Linguistic Internet Computer Entity" - she is a robot, or a simulated poster. Her replies are the product of artificial intelligence, and with a little help, she can 'learn' about her surroundings and the people with whom she interacts.

With that said, she does give artificial 'intelligence' a bad name. Her spelling isn't up to much, and if you want her to call you by name you'll have to tell her straight: "My name is (name)." She is computer senile, and is prone to bouts of schizophrenia. But apart from the odd spell of confusion, ALICE knows more than you might expect.

If you can't find any stimulating conversation elsewhere on the forums, have a chat with ALICE!

Yes that's why I deleted my original.Alice has a hard enough time paying attention to one person and when several people get on one thread she starts double posting and what not.
