WXF HYSTERIA PPV INSIDE!!!
« on: April 11, 2003, 01:09:58 PM »

Last month at Hell on Earth, Sting won the number contender's right by defeating The Rock.  Now, Sting finally gets his chance to capture the gold, when he takes on the very first WXF World Heavyweight Champion, Triple H.  Triple H will not be alone, however.  Ric Flair will be in the champ's corner.  How will this affect Sting?  Everyone knows the history between Sting and Flair, and NOBODY in this business knows Sting better than the Nature Boy.  There is no doubt that Flair has expertly prepared Triple H on how to go about wrestling Sting.  Will Sting be able to overcome The Game and The Nature Boy or will Evolution pass him by?

Last month Steve Austin got a big win over Bill Goldberg, while Jeff Jarrett suffered a loss for the WXF World Championship at the hands of Triple H.  Steve Austin has already gone on record as saying that the only reason he is in WXF is to be World Champion.  Jarrett has said numerous times that he cannot wait to get his hands on Triple H in a World Championship match again.  The winner of this match may be next in line for a WXF World Title shot and both men know this.  Jarrett and Austin are very focused and are ready to explode!  Neither man is above employing underhanded tactics to earn a victory, so expect anything and everything to happen in this one!

Chris Benoit defeated Jerry Lynn in an amazing 2 out of 3 falls match at Hell on Earth to become the very first WXF North American Champion.  After the match, Benoit and Lynn shook hands in a true show of sportsmanship.  It was then the lights went out in Vegas!  By the time the power came back, Benoit and Lynn were lying in the ring a bloody mess, while wrestling's newest super-couple, Syxx-Pac and Joanie Laurer, stood over the two men each with a 2x4 in hand!  Benoit and Lynn were said to have been furious upon regaining consciousness.  Syxx-Pac and Joanie Laurer have said in the past that they are here to dominate.  The North American Championship will be on the line in this unique match.  Whoever scores the fall, either pin or submission, will be crowned the WXF North American Championship.  Which means that even Chris Benoit's own partner will be gunning for Benoit's title!  Benoit has three challengers to worry about.  But at the same time, will Syxx-Pac and Joanie Laurer be able to work as a cohesive unit or will the desire of each one to become North American Champion be the couple's ultimate downfall?

Last month, Madusa had the Women's World Championship in her grasp!  Madusa was about to nail Victoria with a superkick and pick up the win, when Molly Holly came to the ring and caused Madusa to
lose the match and the title!  Afterwards, Molly viciously assaulted Madusa in the ring and in the backstage area!  Molly says she is here to get revenge on Madusa for the way Madusa held her down in WCW.  Madusa claims she didn't hold anyone down, and now wants to decimate the virtuous Ms. Holly.  These two women are foaming at the mouth to get a piece of each other!  Let the destruction begin!

At Hell on Earth, The Rock and Bill Goldberg both suffered serious defeats at the hands of Sting and Steve Austin respectively.  Due to their failures at Hell On Earth, Rock and Goldberg decided they may be more effective in WXF as a tag team.  But the man who brought these two together has decided to remain annonymous....until now!  At HYSTERIA! the mystery manager of the Rock and Goldberg will be revealed!  One thing is for sure, whoever this man is he has a tremendous amount of clout and pull as he has worked out a deal for the Rock and Goldberg to have a WXF Tag Team Championship match against The Dudley Boyz!  The Dudleyz have no problem with that, and are ready, willing, and more than able to take on any and all challengers.  What role will the Rock and Goldberg's mystery manager play at HYSTERIA!?  Whatever it will be, it won't be a good thing for The Dudley Boyz, that's for sure.

Vampiro made a name for himself in WXF last month, when he set the Undertaker on fire in a lethal Inferno Match!  Brock Lesnar also made a name for himself at Hell On Earth when he defeated three superheavyweights in The Big Show, Gran Apolo, and Mike Awesome!  Lesnar and Vampiro seemed destined for greatness here and this match will no doubt have an effect on the World Championship title rankings.  Lesnar should watch though, as sources close to the situation say Vampiro has a BIG suprise in store for the Lesnar and the entire world at HYSTERIA!.....

After losing the Inferno match to Vampiro, Undertaker felt the need to redeem himself.  As a result, he issued an open challenge to anyone is who wants to take him on in a street fight.  That challenged was answered by former ECW World Champ, The Franchise Shane Douglas!  Douglas is in a familiar atmosphere in this street fight environment, but Taker is no stranger to violence and brutality either.  Taker has something to prove in this match, and Douglas wants to use this match as a stepping stone to bigger and better things in the WXF.  It is a battle of pride vs. self gain....which will prove stronger?

Earlier this month, Shawn Michaels announced that he would be a part of the HYSTERIA! PPV.  And newly signed WXF superstar, AJ Styles jumped at the chance to have a match with HBK.  When Bret Hart got wind of this, he volunteered to become Styles' coach for the match!  Hart still bears a lot of animosity towards Michaels for the Survivor Series screw job, and hopes to extract some sort of revenge on Shawn vicariously through AJ.  This is also a big chance for AJ as he is not only being coached by one of the greatest ever, but he is also stepping in the ring with one of the best wrestlers to lace up a pair of boots.

Victoria issued an open challenge for her Women's Championship, and guess what she got?  5 responses!  Lita, Asya, Gail Kim, Luna Vachon, and...Mae Young!  Victoria is definately going to have her hands full with these five ladies, and the champ goes into the match with a severe disadvantage - she doesn't have to be involved in the decision to lose the WXF Women's World Championship.  Asya goes into the match with a huge strength advantage.  Lita, however, is the one in which Victoria must keep her eyes on.  Lita is so quick and can pin an opponent so fast, that Victoria must never allow Lita to get out of her sight.  Luna's insanity is her greatest asset.  Her total disregard for the human body (both her body and her opponents' body!) means that she will stop at nothing to capture the gold.  Gail Kim is one of the most innovative females to grace a ring in recent memory.  The girl is ace!  She is probably going to be underestimated by her opponents, which is something that will definately work in her favor.  Mae Young has shocked us many times in the past, and don't think she won't again!  Mae just might walk away with the strap...whether or not she wins the strap is a different story, but she may walk away with it regardless!  Damn, senility is a bitch!  With personalities like Luna Vachon, Mae Young, and Victoria in this match, one thing is for sure:  This match is going to definately be worth seeing!  Victoria has a chance to prove to everyone just how worthy of the title she is.  If she can defeat five other opponents at the same time, Vicky will no doubt cement her championship status.

WXF Hardcore Championship Triple Threat Match
Mick Foley vs. Raven vs. Sabu

Chris Jericho vs. Ron Killings

Booker T vs. Ron Simmons

graphics and pre-match run downs will be added for these matches later; however, you can start voting on them now

WXF Tag Team Championship:
The Dudley Boyz vs Goldberg & The Rock
The challengers will have a hard time keeping their egos in check to work as a cohesive unit against the definitive tag team of recent years, but their secret weapon could be what's needed to secure the belts. D-Von and Bubba Ray are by far the better team, but the former football players have an ace up their collective sleeve, meaning that this championship match is anything but a level playing field.
*Winners: Goldberg & The Rock

Madusa vs Molly Holly
This match could well be made more interesting by the addition of a special guest referee, who might snap himself away from his Slim Jims to call it right down the middle between his former entourage members. Madusa and Molly are fairly evenly matched, but Madusa brings a greater level of experience to the table. Will the reigning Women's Champion get involved, causing both contenders to turn their aggression on Victoria? Or will the two M's battle it out until only one potential challenger survives? When the smoke is cleared, the woman most likely to be left standing tall in this exchange is the former Ms Blayze.
*Winner: Madusa

WXF North American Championship:
Chris Benoit & Jerry Lynn vs Syxx-Pac & Joanie Laurer
With so many tangibles in one match, this is a tough one to call. Not only will Goatie and the Beast pull out all the stops to take home the gold, but the Crippler will also be on the look-out for his own partner, the New F'n Show. This could lead to a breakdown in the mutual respect that Benoit and Lynn have for each other, but on this night, I see the Wolverine leaving with the title intact.
*Winner: Chris Benoit

Jeff Jarrett vs Steve Austin
As an unofficial number-one contendership match of sorts, both Austin and Jarrett will be on their game and will surely stop at nothing to get this all-important victory. The WXF World Title means too much to them both for either man to let it slip from their sight without a fight. It's difficult to pick a winner, but I'll lean towards the fitter athlete on this occassion.
*Winner: Jeff Jarrett

WXF World Heavyweight Championship:
Triple H vs Sting
The WWE World Champion versus the WWA World Champion, with the biggest of them all - the WXF World Title - on the line! This ought to be a great match, with a little bit of everything. I expect to see some great psychology from both men, and evidence of the burning desire that each veteran gladiator has to be the very best at what they do. Flair's knowledge of the Stinger may be too much for the White & Black Attack on this night, but you can never count out the master of the Scorpion Death Drop. It's quite possible that something or someone else will also factor into this equation, making the main event of Hysteria a truly unpredictable bout. The result? One can only flip a coin.
*Winner: Sting

Dammit, Savage, I didn't know you were about to post more fixtures! :grumble:

Vampiro vs Brock Lesnar
These two men bring very different qualities to the ring, which could result in a peculiar clash of styles. Brock will no doubt try to make this a power-based encounter, while Vampiro will likely employ a hit-and-move strategy, whilst attempting to psyche out his opponent. Although the lighter competitor may have the advantage in more areas, I feel that the Vanilla Gorilla will have his way when it matters most - the final three seconds.
*Winner: Brock Lesnar

Streetfight:
The Undertaker vs Shane Douglas
Whatever credentials the former Dean may bring to this environment, the Dead Man will not allow himself to be embarrassed at two consecutive WXF pay-per-views. Douglas may throw everything he has at the American Bad Ass, but Taker knows how to pull off any victory when he feels the need.
*Winner: The Undertaker

AJ Styles vs Shawn Michaels
With the Hitman in his corner, AJ Styles has more chance of beating the Show Stoppa than anyone. In what should be the highlight of the evening, Michaels and Styles will hit it off like no one's business, tearing up the ring in an explosive encounter of speed and agility. If Bret Hart's loyalties are where he proclaims them to be, then AJ Styles could be in store for the upset victory here.
*Winner: AJ Styles

WXF Women's World Championship:
Victoria vs Asya vs Lita vs Mae Young vs Luna Vachon vs Gail Kim
*Winner: Victoria

WXF Harcore Championship Triple Threat Match:
Mick Foley vs Raven vs Sabu
*Winner: Sabu

Chris Jericho vs Ron Killings
*Winner: Chris Jericho

Booker T vs Ron Simmons
*Winner: Ron Simmons

My votes:

Sting vs. Triple H
Triple H (it's all about The Game-uh!)

Jeff Jarrett vs. Steve Austin
Well, I'm not fond of either of them really, but I prefer watching Stone Cold slug beers rather than listen to Jeff Jarrett.

Syxx Pac & Joanie Laurer vs. Chris Benoit & Jerry Lynn
Syxx Pac & Joanie Laurer

Madusa vs. Molly Holly
Molly Holly

Dudley Boyz vs. The Rock & Goldberg
Well, we know my feelings about The Rock (my love!) and even though I absolutely hate Goldberg, I can't deny my Rock of a vote.

Vampiro vs. Brock Lesnar
Brock Lesnar baby!

Shane Douglas vs. Undertaker
The Undertaker is going to teach Shane a lesson in his yard (even though I have a soft spot for Shane's! lol).

Shawn Michaels vs. AJ Styles (w/Bret Hart)
The HBK is the best baby.

Victoria vs. Asya vs. Lita vs. Mae Young vs. Luna Vachon vs. Gail Kim
Lita

Mick Foley vs. Raven vs. Sabu
C'mon the Mickster!

Chris Jericho vs. Ron Killings
Sorry,  gotta be an ass clown, Chris Jericho

Booker T vs. Ron Simmons
Booker T, sucka!

Well those are my votes, cuz! There you go! :p

::Sting vs HHH::
HHH [ ]will win this one but Sting will put up a good fight.

::Jeff Jarrett vs Steve Austin::
I'm not an Austin fan [at all] so Jeff should win this one.

::Syxx Pac & Chyna vs Chris Beniot & Jerry Lynn::
Chris Benoit & Jerry Lynn because The Wolfverine will be the one holding the team in this match.

::Madusa vs Molly Holly::
Madusa

::Dudley Boyz vs The Rock and Goldberg::
The team of the Rock and Goldberg will be too much for the Dudley Boyz to handle.

::Vampiro vs Brock Lesnar::
Brock will have his hands full and might even underestimate Vampiro, but, in the end, Brock [] will win.

::Shane Douglas vs The Undertaker::
The Undertaker

::Shawn Michaels vs AJ Styles w/ Bret Hart::
Never seen AJ Styles wrestle, but I think he'll be victorious with the help of Bret Hart.

::Victoria [champion] vs Asya vs Lita vs Mae Young vs Luna Vachon vs Gail Kim::
Asya

::Mick Foley vs Raven vs Sabu::
Mick Foley will win because he's one of the most hardcore wrestler I've ever seen.

::Chris Jericho vs Ron Killings::
The Walls of Jericho will surely have Killings tapping out.

::Booker T vs Ron Simmons::
Ron is a tough opponent, but Booker will win this one.

Those are my votes!

Ok, I think that people are a little unclear as to how to vote on the Chris Benoit and Jerry Lynn vs. Syxx-Pac and Joanie Laurer.  Headliner was the only one that voted correctly!  So, to set the record straight, this tag team match is a North American Championship match.  The title is on the line.  Only ONE person can win the title.  While it is a tag team match, the person, not the team, who scores the pin or submission is crowned North American Champion.  Therefore, you only vote for ONE person and not the actual team.  Hope that clears things up!  ;)  :)

Sting vs. Triple H
The speed, power, and techinical ability of Sting will be too much for Triple H. Just remember, Flair and Sting go way back...farther back than Triple H's career. It's showtime folks!
winner: Sting

Jeff Jarrett vs. Steve Austin
It has been proven time and time again that the man with the crowd on his side usually winds up on top. If Jarrett wants to win, he'll have to keep his head in the game and not on the crowd and he'll have to try and find a way around Steve Austin's brawling style. A man as vicious as Austin will not be easy to keep down.
winner: Steve Austin

Syxx Pac & Joanie Laurer vs. Chris Benoit & Jerry Lynn
winner: Chris Benoit

Madusa vs. Molly Holly
Molly's high flying, quick, and technical style will be far to hard for Madusa to compete with. I've said it before and I'll say it again, out with the old and in with the new.
winner: Molly Holly

Dudley Boyz vs. The Rock & Goldberg
Pure power and intensity. That's what this match would be all about. Though the Dudleyz would be tough to keep down, they won't be the ones left standing in the ring what with two wrestlers with the power, charisma, and stamina like Goldberg and Rock. Besides, they might just have the advantage with their secret weapon. Golberg and Rock will win, but only if they can keep their egos in check.
winner: The Rock/Goldberg

Vampiro vs. Brock Lesnar
While Brock may have the power and technical advantage, Vampiro is a man without a concious, a man without fear, a man with no fear of pain. Vampiro is the type of man that would do anything to win...even hurt himself in the process.
winner: Vampiro

Shane Douglas vs. Undertaker
Undertaker may be a ruthless son-of-a-bitch, but Shane is the man who flourished in the legendary ECW. Shane will hurt 'Taker....it's just a question of "how?"
winner: Undertaker

Shawn Michaels vs. AJ Styles (w/Bret Hart)
Shawn has the experience, but since his injury, he's been half the man he once was. Add that to the youth and skill of AJ and the man he has in his corner who hates Shawn with a passion, Bret Hart, and you got a situation in which the odds are against the Heartbreak Kid.
winner: AJ Styles

Victoria vs. Asya vs. Lita vs. Mae Young vs. Luna Vachon vs. Gail Kim
These are a talented bunch of ladies, but when it comes down to it, Victoria and Luna have the mental advantage what with their insane qualities. Vicious doesn't begin to describe how Luna and Victoria will be. The thing is, which one of them is better than the other or are they the same?
winner: Victoria/Luna (double pin)

Mick Foley vs. Raven vs. Sabu
Two men who will do anything to their bodies to win and a man who is hardcore and a master at in-ring psychology? Expect Raven to let Sabu and Mick fight it out, in which Sabu would easily beat the poorly conditioned Mick Foley. Then, Raven would get into Sabu's head while beating him senseless. A victory for the "bird man".
winner: Raven

Chris Jericho vs. Ron Killings
Ron Killings is lacking in experience and he's too hot-tempered to match with Jericho.
winner: Chris Jericho

Booker T vs. Ron Simmons
Two men who are equals in experience, but when it comes down to it, Booker has the ability advantage. Booker will easily out wrestle Simmons.
winner: Booker T

Sav, u need to be more clear! Haha. You were sitting right here when I voted! LOL. Just joking.  Anyway, now I have to fix my vote, so I pick Chyna, even though it's totally unrealistic, but that's why we have this league, isn't it? Power to the women! (Make sure she doesn't wear anything ugly to the ring! No more chains! LOL)
