Guide to the trickier forum tags
« on: May 29, 2007, 04:21:17 AM »

Box:

Box tags produce an inset box very similar to the quote function, but with greater scope and control.

They are demonstrated here and here. Examples of how to use the attributes can be seen below:

Code: [Select]
[box]Example[/box]

[box title=Abstract]Example[/box]

[box class=titlebg]Example[/box]

[box title=WX: link=http://www.wrestlexpress.com]
Example with link attribute.
[/box]

[box title=WX hlink=http://www.wrestlexpress.com]
Example with hlink attribute.
[/box]

The "link" attribute displays the full URL, while the "hlink" attribute simply turns the title into a link.

Wikipedia:

Wikipedia tags link a given word or phrase to the Wikipedia.org page on a given subject.

Code: [Select]
[wiki=Genius]The Headliner[/wiki]
This will link the words "The Headliner" to this page, with a note beside the link to indicate that it goes to Wikipedia, eg: [wiki=Genius]The Headliner[/wiki]

Windows Media ('Stream'), Real, QuickTime:

These three tags will display media content of their respective type, and require the full URL to the audio/video source.
