Team PWH, when do you guys think you'll be able to post in the debate?

I have something about 80 percent done, but have been having problems posting and whatnot.

You guys are over thinking this. Go off your instincts and pure thought. People want a debate full of passion. Should come from your desire or heart as it were.

Yeah it doesn't need to be anything special, it's only the opening post, you're only going to reply back and forth after that anyway.  Just get something out so it can get started properly.

Yeah, even I'm dying for this debate to get started. This was the veent I was looking forward to them most. I could start things right now, but for the consent of my skipper.

The only reason this thing took me as long as it did was because I am nearing finals week, and school has decided to be a bitch. With presentations, oral exams, and tests that will pretty much decide whether or not I move on to the next year of college, I've been slightly delayed.

Any other team member of PWH could have posted in the thread, so please don't use me as an excuse. Just because I posted something in the dugout doesn't mean I was claiming opening post. But oh well, it's begun... and once again, sorry about the delay, I guess miscommunication can cause some problems.

"All posts must be the teams own work I don't want anything copied and pasted from a site, unless it's in a quote box and referenced as evidence to prove your case."

Ha, that's actually a good point.  And you're not allowed to quote anybody in the opening post either.  But because it's taken so long to get started, and they quoted older posts and not posts from that debate I'm gonna say it's allowed.  Because it's more like doing research rather than anything else.  And they did reference it really, they put who said it, and it was obvious it was from when ECW started up again.

the reason i say is can this be considered debating?
in my humble opinion its more like an attempt (clever as it is) to make us look like hypocrites rather than proving ANY sort of point why ECW shouldn;t have been revamped and remade.

Illy you chose which side we had to be on regardless of our opinions on it, a debate is an experiment in rational thought and the ability to see both sides and discuss the opposing points, prevails first post was an attempt to ridicule us and lessen our arguements, without actually providing any kind of fact in thier initial statement

We were just highlighting the fact that no one likes the new ECW. We weren't ridiculing you or anything, Lawman. So stop your whining and crying. This shows that you already know you're gonna lose, so you're trying to prove that we're cheaters.

It's not technically considered a "debate" until after both of our opening posts. As we're not allowed to 'debate', as such. We had nothing to oppose, we were both simply making a statement to begin with.

And everything we used was referenced... so I'm thinking you can let this go and just get on with your first debative (yes, i created a new word) point, instead of coming up with excuses so you don't have to actually debate with us..

Yeah, I am a little disappointed Lawman.

In no way, shape, or form did I break the rules with my post. Make you look like fools? Perhaps. Break the rules? No. All I did was use older posts from PWH that HAPPENED to be made by members of an opposing team as a way to reference the fans initial reactions, and their reactions throughout December.

It took some research to find those posts, and if I do say so myself, it was a mighty fine way to start the debate.

Not a bad point except you used Our posts and noone elses, the debate sides were chosen so saying "you dont agree with what you are saying" is a mute point, and on another note, its called flaming, i'm trying to goad you into a posting a halfhearted attempt. not that i need to, you're doing a decent enough job of that yourself!

Oh and BL, this debate is all but won, you aint posted anything debate wise that can challenge our arguements  ,


P.S i shall continue to taunt you regardless, and to the more experienced posters take all my "whine's" with a pinch of salt, i'm just playing the game!
